    Many thanks guys and cheers to you all I class you all as :friends: to you all Just one thing Who let the cat out of the bag :blush: Of course the best thing about today is I share my 40th with my eldest daughter who has reached the milestone (some would say magical) age of 21 for you mathematitions out there, she was the greatest 19th Birthday gift a man could wish for And it dont stop there either! Its my youngest daughter birthday tomorrow (we would have all shared today, if she hadn't waited an extra 17 minutes) typical woman huh? Thanks again Tony

    Dont be smug Aaron, You forgot to mention Umarex. I have 2 rifles, of which I prefere .22 and I have 5 pistols (left as I had to flog a load to help at xmas ) I prefere .177 in Pistols but must admit my favourite 2 pistols are both HW's a 40 and a 70 in.177 Phantom

Glad you had a good time, before you go out shooting Live Quarry, get someone to take you up to the outdoor range, the Zero & Plinking range is twice the length of the indoor range and has the propper Teacher there!     Hi Matt, Yeah they are good guy's there you will find most shooters are Hope you dropped my name, to let em know I'm still alive I have not been for quite some time I designed the website for them as well Bit basic compared to what I can do now, but it does the job.     Hi Matt, Yes Insurance is a very, very good idea. I am looking to get it from BASA (as I think its the cheapest) Did you get a rifle? or try them for size at Dunc's & Oleman Hutch? What do you think of them? Phantom Just Looked at the SAC's insurance and membership, that looks very good to me, think I'll be contacting them very shortly

    Thought it was familiar, I was in two minds as to whether to buy one of the Edgar Bro's (which is the one sold locally) @ £149 or travel to Pudsey and get my SMK (mod19 or XS Supergrade as they call em now) 2nd hand for £70 inc Bisley 4x40, bag and 2,500 pellets. I chose the SMK Its as sweet as a candy bar; but if I had had the extra brass at the time I would have had the Edgar Bro's same as yours and probably a better scope than the Bisley. Still I got a better scope in the end an SMK 3 to 9 x 40 (okay wait for the Chinky scopes are crap brigade , the reason I say the smk scope

    The good thing about a C/F is that the shots long gone before the recoil has chance to knock it off aim Phantom (Yes I have fired a C/F, but alas not a shottie ) Heres my .22 Hunter
