  2. You'll be prepared next time Check out some of my autopsy posts and there is stuff in them that will almost put you off bunny for life It put me off for a year or two and had to force myself to start eating them again (needless to say that the local Foxes got quite overweight at one point on my cemy and Padock perms ). One of the worst livers I ever saw was a fairly early kill. I shot it on the land of (what was then Hull&District FTC) When I find the cable to my portable HDD I'll pop the image up for you to see. It was greenish/red/brown/yukky almost rubber like but brittle as we

  10. Not quite sure what happened there, but my last post has vanished Try again: AAF's are soft pellets and are usually exceptionally accurate in most barrels However... If the gun is running hot, being a medium weight pellet they will not produce good results. What I and quite a few other Spring gun users have found when we moved into PCP was our groups widened up a fair bit. It was apparently down to a "Subconcious Anticipation of Recoil" and our brains and bodies made tiny adjustments to compensate for the recoil that was not there and we were sending the pellets off course b
  11. AAF's are quite soft and exceptionally accurate in most barrels. I would have the gun chronoed asap. If its running hot, they will not produce good results being a medium weight pellet. The reason I asked about springers is that when I moved to PCP from Springers, I found my grouping was a bit eratic to start with and quite a few PCP converts I spoke to had the same the same. Eventually it was put down to subconcious "Anticipation of Recoil", that is our mind and body made adjustments to compensate for the recoil and due to lack of it, we inadvertantly sent the pellet off course The
  12. There could be a number of factors at play here. What pressure were you filling it to? Going through 9mm Ply at 30 yards is going some what is the gun running at? What pellets are you using? And are you used to shooting a springer before getting the PCP? Tony

  16. Suprisingly commom occurance, I've had dozens of em and they've all gone to the bin. Back in the last century you could have sold those (Tapeworm) Eggs to the Pharmacy as they used to flog them to women as a way to loose weight. They have the ability to cross and live in other species. I've had numerous discussions with people about these and they are deffinately worm eggs. Tony
