  1. Si is being moddest! PM him and buy a copy of "Spring Rifle Vermin Control" DVD I'm after one of these dvd's as well I'm sure Si will send them out to everyone who pays the dues Only one I haven't got is the one where I did the chapter on Lamps! Si's vids are Awsome guy's Because I have such a seriously crappy connection to the net, I'm hoping that Si and Davy will produce a, "Vermin Hunters DVD" Archve DVD (ie 6 months worth of vids on a dvd). That way we all get to see the channel at a very reasonable price
  2. So where the ell is the link? :confused and confusticated:
  3. Si is being moddest! PM him and buy a copy of "Spring Rifle Vermin Control" DVD
  4. I used to be very good with a pistol I took Gold Awards in three out of the four main classes (Spring, PCP and SSP) a few years ago. I also worked my way up the UBC Pistol Marksmansip stages and did very well in the Police Pistol comps (multi shot, multi target and I mansged to not scratch the 'Hostage" All was good Apart from the odd fly, mouse or bird that the moggie brings in, I've little used a pistol since I was dumpred here, so no I guess I shall be very rusty
  5. I order 100 at a time and get em roughly 50p a capsule, would LOVE to know where to get them any cheaper than that. You've been had mate Just looked at the place I used to get em from years ago, they're doing em in boxes of 50 now at 19:99 I used to get em from here : http://www.tyreinflators.co.uk/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=262&category=16 Never used to have all that safety information on the page either nor did they check out my age!
  6. Like spring rifles, the HW-45 is "Very" Hold sensitive The HW45 is capable of pellet on pellet at 20 yard Pistol FT (and even further with practice). So many people can't shoot consistantly and blame the gun, then give them a PCP and they still cant put two pellets in the same hole
  7. Not had enough time with my fac Ultra, so ATM (Contest wins, smallest groups and quarry in the bag) I'd have to say my AA S200.
  8. Only 'Impossible' by those who can't shoot! I know Scott is a non shooter, and as thus his signature is more valid (in my opinion) than another shooter! Tony
  9. I've shot the Nemesis on a couple of occasions, one (newer model) was fecking awful to shoot, however the much older version was as sweet as silk, Little? Have you had one of those monsters in your hands? Largest Pistol I've ever shot! and supremely accurate Co2 Capsules vary by supplier and volume ordered Last time I purchased from a local RFD it was a quid each or ten for £8 When I ordered in bulk they worked out at 30 pence a capsule for a 100 and that was including next day delivery Not ordered any for a good while though.
  10. Morning lads. The HW45 is a little on the pricy side aint it Despite what many people think; Most pistols in the uk run under 3ft/lbs. Most of the realistic looking ones are generally 2 to 2.75 One of the most accurate pistols that wont break the bank is the HW-40PCA a cheaper clone is the Beeman2004 IF you really must have "Power" then your limited to things like the Sherridans EB range Crosmans and the likes. The Webley Alecto is a multipump and at three pumps puts out about 5ft/lbs.
  11. Bummer, but I bet their Schematics look similar? When I've emptioed the AC on my baby, I pull back the bolt for a while Thenit's fill as normal.. I'm too intoxicated to aswer further, ut I'll o better tomrrow!
  12. I'm sure that you all know of the changes that Royal Mail tried to implement last year/early this year? IE the banning of carriage of airguns and their component parts? This would have fecked us all up the rectum if they had gotten away with it! Thanks to BASC and others (a huge amount of airgunners registered their protests with the Royal Mail). I run (along with a few dedicated members) the first and THE most sucessful International Air Pistol Forum on the internet (you may of heard of the Umarex Boys Club in the UK Airgun Magazines?) Over the last few weeks we have become awar
  13. Hill's of Sheffield. http://www.airriflepump.com/ http://www.hillpumps.com/ Same company, Manufacture pumps for most brands Tony
  14. It does and yes, but no one should really have their gun that close to the limit
  15. Last time I tried to watch it, I just couldn't get into it due to poor concentration levels I finished watching DVD one today and thoroughly Enjoyed it Most DVD's of this nature are much of a muchness really But if I can take away a single 'tip' to implement that may improve my bags then it's worth every penny What I learned today was that when hoping to blatt maggies, putting one out as a decoy next to a split bunny seems to work wonders (rather than just a split bunny) AND the best way to keep the feckers still is to use a stick in the set up as well That is PRICELESS Yo
  16. Same/Similar here, However better Marksman than myself have proven time and again that washing, careful selection of perfect pellets (weight and sizing) and lubing pellets does in fact reduce print size on paper at ranges we shoot at and further This is fantastic in the paper puching world or long distance 8mm KZ's, but for hunting that extra tenth of a mm is not likely to make much difference
  17. No bud, it just helps reduce friction as they travel down the barrel
  18. Your lass told me what you both get upto with Dark Waxy things
  19. If you have a couple of grand spare, you could get one. But something to put 2000+ psi your not gonna find one on the shelves bud
  20. Have a word with Whizzie (Steve) Roger I cant remember what his bag is called other than 'Drag Bag' or something like that. It looks bomb proof! Not cheap mind you but Steve only buy's the good stuff
  21. Classic Myxie Symptoms are scabbed over eyes
  22. I don't mind a Milky Doe as long as she has only two legs Forgot to say sorry it was a buck rabbit, a good sized buck rabbit that had a lot of muscle and fat on it. ATB Dan In that case Dan, Next time a pic (even a phone cam pic) would be useful Tony
  23. Sounds like an old Milky Doe, was it pretty skinny with a lot of subcutanious fat (just under the skin)?
