  1. Pellet grade? oh are you using the BRC? I couldn't get on with it so stick to the simplicity of CGP Or is there a newer version of CGP? Mine is CGP3
  2. Go into Tools then down to Lables etc... click that then choose ScopeCaps Choose the reticle you want, size diametre required and then the colour (4 colours) then print Tony

  4. Nice shooting Davy and a lovely shot on the Corvid as well Si As Davy mentioned, now that the cold weather is here, the Rodents are returning from the great outdoors to their easy winter pickings in grain sheds, siloes and anywhere else that harbours a good safe supply of nosh and warmth. Keep at em guy's Tony
  5. As the gun is clearly "Not fit for the Purpose that it was sold for" Sam you have every right to ask for your money back as you purchased it from a retailer (Consumer rights act). If you got it from a private seller, it would be a different thing altogether :grrr: If the retailer gets stroppy, let them know that you are willing to involve the Local Trading Standards people check their address on the web or yellow pages and quote the address of the local office I have often mentioned "My friend in the local TS department at.... such and such" Retailers soon back down Of course
  6. A W S O M E :clapper: I am proud to have been a participant in the effort And I'm especially proud of Si, Chas, Davy as the organisors and all that attend thes meets Tony
  7. Bitch!!!! How dare she? I am sure that the impact that you have had on the bunnies and woodies will stand you in good stead Si If you were not doing a good nough job on them they would have pulled your permission away a long time ago. I am also sure that every single one of the allotmentee's (for want of a better word) will back you up, she may be an antie but the people who grow their own veg etc, will not like the thoughts of their the toils and their efforts going to waste because of the robbing and damaging vermin. I can't wait to hear her reaction when she finds out all he
  8. Unusual I saw a young shooter (11 years of age) last week printing less than an inch group with his Daystate at 35 yards. He also showed me a 50 yard card he'd shot with the same gun. I was very impressed given the little time he's been shooting. I would suggest (if you havent already done so) shooting without the silencer and adaptor, if that produces a grouping then add the adaptor and try again. If thats good then add the silencer again. Sometimes a clipping can show no signs on the surface that it's actually striking. It only takes a fraction of the end of a pellet skirt to make
  9. What groupings are you getting? Are you shooting offhand, resting etc. Are you a new shooter or experianced shooter? Tony
  10. I've only had one knock at the door! Think the sign that says "Beggars Will Be Shot" on the front door has deterred most of them  Tony
  11. OR you could have got back home to find a fecking letter from your local Council demanding details of all your guns like I have just done B@stards can go feck themselves silly

  14. here's the thread I mentioned, seems they think otherwise regards .22 and .177 http://bsaog.co.uk/f...p?topic=45883.0 I speak from experiance with both .22 (my own) and both the Daystates in .177 that I chronoed last Saturday for Whizzie
  15. Yes you can. Woodpigion come to decoys Corvids come to dead bunnies and other dead things as well as bread etc... It is illegal to bait Magpies with shiney items, but like other corvids they like dead things and eggs. Rabbits im pretty sure it would be near impodsible to "bait" them unless they like a specific food. I have used flowers to bait the bunnies in my cemetery perm to great effect. In the paddock however they wont touch the flowers! Tony
  16. It was a .22 It doesnt matter what the cal is. PCPs will give a higher output with a heavier pellet where a springer is the reverse Yes I was exceptionally lucky just to get away with a caution!
  17. alright Tony, was this .177 0r .22? I asked a question on another forum the other week as I was looking at buying a gun, the owner had told me that he had had to return it to the manufacturer after it shot over the magic number (12.01) on a test over his chrony... he said they set it to 11.7 with JSB exacts and I was worried that bismags would put it over... The members of the forum wanted to know if it was .177 as if it was, then it would probably be over with a heavier pellet but I should be ok with that setting if it was .22.. it was a .22 by the way...never bought it though...
  18. Well.... if that is the case I hope we neve hear of Theoben again! I despise tax dodgers and cororate theiving scum
  19. I do love a good Whore Gun Sweet
  20. Dunno about trading under another name, but they went to the wall (Bust) last week Tony ps no doubt someone will try to rescue the company, but...... We will see
  21. The S-16 is too unreliable until you get it sorted very costly! The S200 is cheap, reliable and exceptionally accurate If you prefer the look of the S-16 get the Egar Brothers XVI The XVI (X=10+V=5+I=1 Total=16) Its the same gun with a much improved and reliable powerplant mechanism If you fancy something light, accurate and deadly, then the BSA Ultra is your gun Tony
