  1. As above In short, (and without taking offence) learn to shoot at ranges The .177 has a flatter trajectory as you know (or you would not be asking for guidance). Practise Practice and practice, then practice some more, then much more, and between hunts, yep you got it, practice Eventually it will become second nature to you Tony
  2. Always one Its amazing how many Pricks have ears these days!
  3. As far as I am aware, customs and excise can not test the gun's, they have to involve the Police Firearms department who in turn call in the services of the forensic sciences department. If it's running at 10ft/lbs max Bearinator is correct, it's not going to get close to the legal limit. Tony
  4. What yardage we looking at for the twattapult comps Si?
  5. Basically, it involves a lot of shooting, drinking and then (when sober) more shooting with like minded people, laving a right laugh, meeting new people; making great and long lasting friendships, taking the mick and more laughs! Then a spot of almost serious comp shooting, awards, piss taking then leaving with a whole new world of friendship, respect and a whole sh!t loads of new urine extraction lines and techniques In one word it can be summed up as sheer "FUN" A weekend of shooting air rifles with like minded people, air rifle shooting comps, beer and good food. bonfires a

  8. As long as I can use my rifle Simon I had to pull out of the last meets shooting and comp I only fired two shots all weekend with Si's springer and although I didn't say it at the time it fecking hurt! I've finally transfered to a local GP now and am off to get a "Professional" diagnosis tonight. I may just have to learn to shoot left handed with a stick instead of my right arm! At the moment I can litterally only shoot from the bipod at the moment EXCELLENT news Joey. Look forward to see you again will you be bringing D and the lil monsters? Bring em with y

  12. The M(ulti) A(im) P(oint) 6 gives you a choice of aim points at 6x Magnification. A Standard Mildot (not Milradian) system will give you a far greater 'Aim Point' The extra 'half' (ribbon) dot makes it easier to make the precise shot at such and such a distance Tony
  13. And given that statement you have answered your own question Some of us prefer one over the other, just like calibre selection If you are more comfotable with this you are sorted Tony
  14. I get what you are saying Bud... But I know I get 40 shots at the sweet spot and I know what hold over to use when I'm out of the sweetspot and can gain an extra 20 shots per fill. I fill to about five bar above the sweetspot, this allows me to "blow off" a couple of shots before I put lead in the breech Tony
  15. I've used everything from Pistol Muzzle against snotter of Ratty to 10x mag under the lamp with rifle
  16. A W S O M E ! ! ! Some of the most precise "Humane" shutdown shots I've ever seen Loved that "BANG! rat drops like a lead baloon 'aye up Burt, what you off to kip for?.....' BANG ask no questions, I'll tell thee no lies shot" Superb Shooting Buddy Tony
  17. No choice at all Sir, The Mil/half Mildot will serve you well A Mildot / Halt Mildot scope is far superior Multi Aim Point system Tony
  18. Me too Nice to see your alive and well Rob Also very nice to see your working on producing your own blades now bud The great thing about this episode of VHTV is it shows the basics of how the knives are produced and my appreciation of the art increases I have a basic Whitby Fox type knife (Identical to the one Si uses in his pellet splitting shots (they were purchased together)). I also have a Haller knife that Si and Laura gave me as a gift (im almost scared to use it, as it is so sentimental to me). I have so much wanted to make my own knife, this video is an inspiration as
  19. Remove the endcap on the Air Cylinder on the gun, either pull it off or unscrew it. Open the valve on the pump, Connect the connector of the pump to the aircylinder filling port. Close valve screw on pump. Pump up to required pressure. If the gun is totally empty you will need to pull the bolt back and keep it open. Once required pressure is achieved, IMPORTANT!!!...... OPEN the valve on the pump to let out the air in the hose / whip and base of pump. Then disconnect hose from gun. Tony
  20. But of course being the Law Abiding Congragation that we are, we wont be doing that will we
