  2. think i've got a wasp nest in the hedge i share with next door, went to cut the hedge this morning and after five minutes noticed about a dozen or more wasps halfway down flying about in the same spot. its hard to see into the hedge as it quite dense and dont really fancy rumaging through it lookin for a nest. so decided to get the dogs in and leave it for five, went back out for another look and there was only a couple this time so give the hedge a good whack with a rake and ran back in the house to observe from a window and they were back out in numbers any one have an idea how to get rid

  18. ash should work or even hickory but dont use soft wood shavings as i did on my first try it gives the fish a horrible taste kinda like battery acid i think most hard woods will work you can even put fresh herbs in with the shavings to add extra flavours
  19. all sound nice so far you could fillet and smoke them like this get yourself a biscuit or sweet tin and stab a few holes in the lid then stick a hand ful of oak shavings in the bottom next get some fine mesh which you can bend by hand and shape it into your tin so its sits about an inch off the shavings remembering to leave some room for your fillets of trout place your fish on the mesh then put the lid back on the tin and put it on a medium gas hob for about ten mins or till its done to your liking (you can keep checking with a fork by flaking away some flesh ,aslo best do thi
