    GOUT

Give up the piss.Got a couple of uncles and and a couple of mates who get it and they all skirt around the fact that they drink too much. Its just a coincidence that they all seenm to get an attack of gout on a monday or after a weeknight darts match when theyve downed 10 pints of Guinness
  3. No not Pauline Black. To be fair whenever Ive seen the selecta they've been pretty good.Last time I saw Bad Manners Buster was so pissed that someone else sang the songs while he just fell about on stage sticking his tongue out.
  4. Ive seen all the two tone bands numerous times.Only seen Madness twice and both times they were absolute shit.Saw The specials on their 30th an3tour and they were amazing,Saw them on their 40th anniversary and they were alright but not the same without Neville Staple and saw them two years ago and they were f***ing shit.Terry Hall spouting Political shit and then they bought the paki bird who was all over the news at the EDL rally on stage dressed up in a fred perry and DMs to shout her way through a couple of what im guessing were meant to be songs.Out of all of the Ska bands The Beat have al
  5. f**k all wrong with a decent bit of rock or metal mate.Would loved to have seen GnR in 87/88 when they were still a club band.Like I said at the start of the thread ACDC was one of the best concerts ive been to.
  6. Me and 7 pals went and saw them in Nov 2019 at the ziggodome in Amsterdam. Its a purpose built music Arena right next door to the Ajax Stadium.Apparently its got the best acoustics in Europe, the sound was like nothing Ive heard in a venue that holds 18.000 people which it did that night.Im the youngest in our crowd by at least 4years at 46 and I reckon 80%of the crowd were older than me but every single person in there was dancing from start to finish.
  7. Seen a few on that list.UB40 late 80s when I was still at school.Steel Pulse around the time.Lee scratch Perry a few time,You never know wether you're gunna get some quite cool,on the fly lyrics with him or some complete rambling nonsense.Saw Leftfield at Paradiso in Amsterdam on their 20th anniversary of Leftism tour. That night was pretty f***ing mental.
  8. Saw kings of Leon at Brixton academy just before they got big over here.My pals nagged me into going as I wasnt really up for it but was blown away by them.
  9. How long ago did you see them as its got to be 20years since I saw them in a little theatre music venue down here.Even their visuals.I was having a laugh and a chat with a bird in the crowd and mentioned how with the lighting and his mannerisms he pulled off a pretty good jim Morrison. She cracked up laughing and said"Thats my old man.He f***ing thinks is Jim Morrison"
  10. Yeah It will be a shame.I saw them at a little music venue situated inside Dreamland amusement park in Margate last year. Also saw the Mondays there. Its amazing how big the mods have got considering they get no real commercial air time.
  11. LA Doors are a very local band to me.In fact my stepson is good mates the keyboard players stepson.Probably one of the most on point cover bands about.
  12. Sleaford Mods are f***ing hilarious.Proper got the crowd going when I saw them last year.Saw the specials about 18months ago for the fith time in probably 15 years and honestly dont think Ill ever bother again.Very disappointing
  13. Seen The Mondays a few times and to be honest theyve always been spannered and sounded shit???I shared a spliff with Bez and gave him a pill outside a little local festival a few years back.Saw the Roses at Heaton Park on their comeback tour about 10years ago and they sounded amazing which eas great as Id seen Ian Brown a few times and he could be very hit and miss. Then we went and saw them a couple of years later at Wembley and he sounde f***ing Awful.
  14. Done a few Glasto's over the years.Few gooduns early 90s but it all started getting a bit too commercial for my liking.Much prefered Reading festival as it seemed to attract more of a real music fan crowd.Who was the dance band you travelled with?
  15. Yeah.He was lead singer of The Jim and The Stale council
  16. Tell me about it mate.It was my birthday last week and I kept getting memories popping up on fb from 1year ago.At my favourite music venue in Amsterdam watching The Fun loving criminals and in my favourite bars coffeeshops out there.Just what I needed was reminding how much fun I was having on my last birthday when I was in bed at 8 on this one.
  17. Yes mate.I was only 15 and went there on a coach with 2 of my older pals that started taking me to raves shortly after. To be honest I cant remember a lot about the actual gig as I was off my nut on acid at the time.Theres a whole lot of gigs and raves from the late 80s up untill about 96 that I know were good fun and I enjoyed but I dont actuall remember too much about them???
  18. Following on from the rave thread.I love going out or travelling away to see live bands. So whos the most recent youve seen live,Best youve seen live or anyone youd like to see when or if we get to ever go to a live gig again? Last year I got to see Underworld and The Fun loving criminals both in Amsterdam within weeks of eachother and The Happy Mondays and The Sleaford mods both at a local venue to me.Best stricly instrumental band Ive seen was probably ACDCat Wembley arena or Pink Floyd in Berlin when the wall came down and most seen band would have been The Prodigy.Saw them the first time in
  19. I know the film and whos in it but cant remember what its called. Its a toss up of 2 or 3 titles
