I know what you mean about cheap shoes.Ive probably got 40pairs of trainers,2 pairs of New balance boots that look like timberlands but ar 10 times more comfy.A couple of pairs of deck shoes to wear with smart shorts in the summer.But then 3 pairs of pretty expensive shoes that Ive had years as they just don't get warn unless it's a wedding or funeral.I keep fancying a pair of tricker brogue boots but can't warrant spending over a monkey on something that will hardly get warn.

Nice.My pal has a S3 TV175 that looks like it's just been dragged out of a barn after 40years but he's got an RB 265 engine built and tuned by a fella from up your end.It goes faster than any sane person would wanna try and ride a 60year old scooter.The lads I knock about with on the scooters aint into flashy paint jobs or chrome and mirrors.We just like making them go as quick as possible.

That's where you ozzies dont understand origional English skinheads culture.The origional 60s and 70s skinheads embraced the black carribeans.They took the sharp tonic suits from the Jamaican rudeboys and the music was all jamaican SKA and Reggae.Even with the Second coming of SKA in the 2Tone era of the late 70s the best bands were all mixed race.It was only in the early 80s when. They hit their peak a few years ago and seem to be slowly getting cheaper again now.Very few people under 50 are interested in them.And a lot of older fellas and blokes getting into it that never owned them back in the day are buying the shitty autos

Nothing back in the 60s and 70s but walking round dressed like it when your in your 50s/60s is a bit cheesy especially when half of them weren't skinheads back then and trojan was a jamaican record label and not some naff clothing brand.Almost as bad as all the dodgy gear with lambretta all over it

My missus is half barbadian on her mums side and they are all Christian along with a couple of my older mates in the dog game who's parents came over from Barbados in the 50s.In The part of Kent where she lives there's a lot of Africans moving in and there churches are popping up everywhere.

I always take my shoes of when I enter my own or anybody else's home.My missus has a cupboard right inside her front door so you can put your shoes in and step straight into indoor slippers.She goes mad as well if I even so much as sit on the edge of the bed in outdoor clothes whilst getting undressed.Apparently it's a big no no in west Indian culture.

We're lucky in that we've got an amazing pool in our local town.When I was a kid there was a big pool with diving boards and a smaller pool,both outside and surrounded by big grassy areas.I can still remember as a kid it was 25p for a morning session and 35p for an afternoon/evening.I can still remember my mum giving me 8quid so I could get my first season ticket and spending the whole summer holiday at the pool.About 15years ago they did away with the biggest grass area and built an indoor pool which is great as its now open year round.Id be down there 2/3 times a week with my daughter when s

I taught my daughter to swim when she was still a nipper.She could do a length of our local pool before she started school.Its a schools job to to teach them to read and write etc not to teach them to swim

Tbh I've Ive spent a fair bit of time over them areas of South since the early 90s.Clubbing,partying,DJing and have never found it any sketchier than any other areas in In any big city.And since they've pumped a bit of money into them areas there's plenty of nice spots to eat and drink before you go and see a band etc now.
