  1. Not going to say anymore on this post as waste of time with folk like you. :wankerzo4: Username says it all, wullie
  2. That's a good one, Swampy......going to have to think about that one.
  3. Good idea. Then you don't need to punt them out on here
  4. Would have thought that was a vets job.

    £15,000

Yes but it would be an old one. I.e. a proper one, and not a blinged to buggery drug dealer car.
  6. Seems a considerable number of people breed ferrets 'because they can'. Must lose a helluva lot of the little buggers the amount of breeding that goes on.....
  7. The Station Buffet at Leeds railway station used to serve a cracking pint of Tetley's.
  8. If it'd been me, she'd have said 'Hang on while I find my glasses'

  10. Know what you mean about the Philharmonic. The bogs are posher than my house..... Three Stags Heads, Wardlow Mires. Just don't ask for lager....
  11. That's good. Because 1) you won't make any money, and 2) You probably won't get shut of the kits. As long as you're prepared to keep up to 12 kits, it's OK then, isn't it?

    crufts

I'd rather go to Longshaw Sheepdog trials than Crufts. http://www.longshawsheepdog.co.uk/dates.html
  13. Not all Rescues refuse to rehome to working homes. Given the state of many rescues it's be rather inadvisable IMHO. If you're worried about getting a kit bred from a worker then tell the Rescue owner. A significant proportion of their annual influx is from workers, so if it means that much I'm sure they could accommodate you. If there's a local Rescue, they'd probably welcome a few rabbits, too
  14. If you cant find one the jill jab works well had mine done recently. Thanks.....I wanted some kits to be fair. I have two little girls who are desperate to have some baby ferret. Am only mating the one as she is so good natured. Will only keep a couple and give the rest away. Im sure they'll be very well handled by the time my kids have finished with them. Go to a Rescue then. They're normally inundated with kits so you'll have plenty of choice.
  15. 2 points 1) Clown Loaches are shoal fish. Buy 3 or more. 2) I've used King Btitish WS3 successfully on whitespot, but you have to treat twice, as it doesn't kill the cysts and you get reparasitism when they hatch. A week should do it
  16. Soddit. I have a motorbike
  17. My allottment is the back garden, and the shed is the house You can get the basic info you need on sowing times on the back of the seed packets. But if you start with pretty bombproof stuff like carrots, parsnip and beetroot, you can sow that as soon as the ground starts warming up in spring. I aim to get these in by the end of March, but if it's a late season don't fret if they're not in bu late April. They'll catch up. If you haven't a greenhouse then onion setts are better than seed, though you can sow salad onions in batches, along with lettuce. French beans are dead easy. Sow and f
  18. Very true mate. Only bought one thing off this site, but it was a biggie in terms of money, and I met face to face and had a mate with me. Better safe than sorry. Mind, Sean had his missus with him (on a shopping mission) so I'm not sure how much of the money he kept....

    hadrians wall

The first 10 miles from Wallsend aren't that scenic though but....
  20. When a population is exposed to a disease it hasn't 'seen' before, the disease is almost always more serious than in a population that's had it for many generations. Look what measles did to the caribbean Indians.....damn near wiped them out (along with smallpox, syphilis etc)
  21. That would be the achievement of the century. Myxomatosis is a virus, syphilis a bacterium.
  22. And if it had agreed with your opinion Nik, it would have been the best programme ever....
