  1. I think YOU should do a bit of reading if you think cleaning them our once a week is acceptable.
  2. See my last post! Lousy Lying Bast**d fits tho. . . Ric I am genuinely shocked that a person who claims such a qualification has such poor spelling, punctuation and grammar.
  3. You still haven't denied the offences for which you were charged and convicted. And I'm neither a retired policeman nor a member of the RSPB. And what is an 'LLB HONS' when it's at home?
  4. Gawd that takes me back. Boiled potato was a popular bait 20 years ago. Caught my best carp (16lb) off sweetcorn. It's like a lot of fishing, carp bait is made to catch anglers as much as carp....
  5. In which casse you are a prick. Or an idiot, the choice is yours....
  6. I notice that in all this, Mr Canning (LLB, HONS) you focus on one point of evidence. You do not deny that you did the crimes of which you were accused. Or am I missing something?
  7. You did the right thing by the kits, nothing mad about that. Kibble has it's place. Probably not best for kits though.
  8. Countryboyo, at least you tried mate, so fair play.
  9. Sounds like a plan....
  10. Sorry to hear this. RIP Viv.
  11. Thanks for your help No problem The point I'm trying to make is that you shouldn't read too much into unverified 'information' on the web. Any computer literate knowall can construct a credible looking website containing all sorts of crap and misinformation. Others copy that misinformation and before you know it, it's accepted as the 'truth'.....that's what a 'meme' is. So it pays to be rather sceptical. Agreed that whole carcass is best though.
  12. The number of sites you read it on is irrelevent. Google up the word 'meme'.

The plod also have serious humour problems with 'wasting police time'.
  14. I've read on the net that Elvis lives. You should treat unreferenced claims on the net with a degree of scepticism. It's never been mentioned on here and there must have been a few of the 400 odd kits born last year that were fed on kibble.
  15. Ferrets can catch human transmissible flu. They can't catch human colds, but can catch ferret colds.

No mate. It's kids like you that's boring.
  17. Ferretone is an expensive con. Olive oil or veg oil works just as well.
  18. Got to agree with Wilf on this one. In coarse fishing I normally use a running feeder. If, for some reason it knots up and fixes the feeder the loss of sensitivity on the tip is remarkable. All the little knocks and nudges that tell tou how a bite is developing disappear. I also agree with the notion that some areas are possibly unfishable. Better fish somewhere else than risk a fish being tethered to a lead.
  19. There's at least one non-hunter that wouldn't, too.... Next film: Harry Potter and the Overdone Franchise.
  20. well the furthest ive been down is 5lb mono so i guess it would work with 4lb Raiderboy Cheers mate. I'll give it a try then.
  21. That looks a handy method. Would it work with, say, 4lb mono? Or would you get slippage as the knot tightened up?
  22. Very true Mal. I've spent a few entertaining days climbing in the slate quarries round Llanberis and Blenau. That must have been an impressive sight when they were all up and running....
