Good sesh down the gym. Or if I'm too idle, an hours' gardening. Get some worms for the next weekends' fishing. Am I using the apostrophes right there? Bloody confusing are apostrophes. Never understood the little buggers.

Mine like bubble wrap, plastic bags, cardboard boxes.....anything they can get inside or drag around. They also like the tubes you get carpets wrapped round. Local carpet shop will probably give you these.

Not expecting you to 'kiss 'em', mate...................I was making the point that if you've kept ferrets for over 50 years, then you'd surely have more knowledge regarding them than to refer to them as 'nasty little b*****ds'? Not much respect shown for the wee beasts,is there? Or maybe you're one of the 'old school' that reckon it's the done thing to 'cull' your ferts at the end of the season to save wasting your time & energy feeding them through the summer? It's worth doing a pH check - most aquarium shops will do one for free - since some tetras are a bit fussy as to pH. Neons need soft acid water for example. Lemons and Glowlights are pretty hardy though. If you've got a 2' tank you could fit a couple of shoals of 7-8 in there, eventually. Take your time though. Rushing into stocking WILL lead to fish kills, as I was reminded to my cost recently......
