I have never made a catapult but do make walking sticks and leave the shanks I cut for at least a year if hazel and a holly shank for twice as long. This allows the shanks to season and shrink, is it not the same with catapult forks? -

If these people keep closing accounts and changing user names one of the only ways to try not to get ripped off is to let everyone know who these people are by publishing the name and address were you sent the money to. A word of warning “You have to be certain and be able to prove that these people are scammers BEFORE publishing detailsâ€! We will then all know who to avoid.

Sorry not at the moment as I live in County Durham and my friend that has the litter of polecats lives in Nottinghamshire. I was down his way last weekend shooting foxes and thats when I got to see the young polecats, I have two half brothers to the jill that is the mother to this litter.

As I said in the last message my friend has been trying for a number of years to breed a strain of black ferrets, this year he has bred a litter that are not dark but JET BLACK. I went to see them last Saturday and this litter are the darkest I have ever seen if you have not been fixed up let me know?

I have only ever bought 1 ferreting DVD that was in 2006 and this is what I posted about it, make your own mind up I just bought a DVD at a car boot sale it is called Ferreting and Dogging with the Lads from Durham part 3. I pushed myself to watch it all the way through, the only things I learnt from this film is how not to make a video, how not to edit a video and in future only to buy DVDs that have been recommended to me. The DVD is priced at £15 I am only pleased that I only paid 50p for it, about what I think it is worth. God knows how bad 1 and 2 are. All in all I would not rec

We could vote 100% to stop immigration but what could any UK government do. Yes if it had the guts to do it, it could stop all immigration from outside the EU into Britain but it could not stop the whole population of say Poland moving here if they wanted too. I am very happy with them, used to bite a bit when very young but they are handled everyday and now they are as good as gold, they follow me about and usally come when shouted to. The only thing is they grew larger than I thought and are really dark coloured but as most of the ferreing is in the open it is not a problem.

I would advise anyone to carry written permission with them when out hunting, to say “I make nothing easy for the plod feck him... If i have permission thats for him to find out “ is just stupid. It only takes one awkward policeman to knock a farmer out of bed at say 2 in the morning to ask if you have permission, then see how long the farmer puts up with the hassle of having you on his land. I would also like to ask has anyone ever heard of say a bank robber or a mugger losing their licence?

Definitely did NOT escape, the door has 2 very strong catches and the wire is next to new as this was a hutch that I built 4 month ago using new timber and wire. The box that the ferret sleeps in had been tipped upside down. Makes you think is it worth getting another ferret to get attached too, for someone to come during the night and steal it?

Ready to go out Saturday, Went to box my ferret up and nothing! Obviously the hutch was ferret proof but not scum proof. He is a year old white hob and as much a pet as a worker, just hope the thieving Tw-t that stole him looks after him.
