    exactly i like deer so i eat it or family friends will i only run fox once in a blue moon as it isnt my cup of tea sly yes fast definately not what im saying is i dont kill it for the sake of killing something id rather run a hare and have a good course and test my dog and my dog miss it rather then run a fox and kill it

    what am saying is what is the point in killing a deer if not for the pot if you want to test your dog theres much harder to test it with if its speed then run hares if its gameness throw it in with another game dog what ever floats your boat by the time a dog takes a deer down its in shock its not hard to put it out its misery quick same with fox the good dogs end it quickly if its the fighting you want to see why not get a pit and use it for what it was bred

    i agree theres plenty of deer but it wouldnt be on top as it is if people took the deer with them and ate it instead of ripping it to bits with 4/5 dogs and leaving it were they killed it or in the dike next to them theres lads out there today that will smash out with there dog but are scared to even touch it let alone skin and gut it then they have it on there phones dogs tearing a deer to bits for 5 mins then wonder why its on top

    i have just lost a 14 month old dog with it his litter brother pulled through its took me about 5-6 week to get the one that survived back right the best thing you can do is get it on a drip ifs it stays hydrated it might pull through the one that died had it a day o so before and vet took a blood test and sent him home with a shot of antibiotic by the next morning he was worse so took him back and they put him on a drip and the litter brother as well who was as bad as the other was a day before he survived the one that died had had to much feaces in its blood stream the mother of the pups did
