I understand that as long as the gun remaind in its gunslip, and you only take it out when you are about to approach the stand you are about to shoot at, then you are ok. Just cartriges attend the Midland gamefair, and you can get some good deals, as there is no p/p to pay. Hope this helps.

Just got off the phone to one of the organisers, I asked about rain etc, he tells me that most of the rain in Wales misses Builth Wells as it falls on the mountains, but anyway the field was drained last year and planted with clover, should be fine whatever the weather. Forecast is for sun on sunday. See you there! Just sorted a good pitch and a TENT at last!!! Cheers for that, i will be booking a B/B for the weekend. -

Now i am really jealous!!!!!!!!! Went out this morning, got 5 in the end, not bad, but i spent more time slashing nettles down than putting nets down! When you only have limited amounts of permission, taking a big haul of rabbits in one go buggers up the rest of the season, and maybe the next as well. I am more than happy with 10 in the bag each night, but that means i can go out all season, not once or twice a season. I think the danger with debating 100 + is that kids and newbys will think their dogs are shyte if they dont come home with a huge load of rabbits, and thats not a good thing at all.

I too have to pay the scum bag incompetant fools. I have some arrears, due to 2 changes of jobs in 3 months, they took 7 months to tell me how much to pay, and oh by the way now you are in areers! wankers, all of them. Anyway, the rules are they cannot leave you without the means to support yourself, even if you have arreers. You only have to pay some of your debts, over a longer period of time. A lady round my way had a lovely border terrier, just a pet, that died out on her walk. It turned out the dog had eaten slug pellets that the farmer had spilled on the way to spread them. As its so wet and prime slug weather, i wonder if the poor dog could also have eaten some. ??

Got to dissagree here, i had a bitch that came to me as a sheep worrier, and as we had sheep at the time, i walked the dog in a pen of big old ewes. Every time she lunged at them, she got told. Then i let her go in the pen (a few days down the line, once he seemed ok) and the ewes formed a circle around the dog, stamping thier feet and looking mean. Dog seemed to get the message, and was stock proof from then on. I have a pup now, and some hens, for the same reason. Problem for most folks, is not havind access to sheep. Dont think many farmers will let you 'borrow' some sheep.
