The game keeper in my area has just started a new syndicate where every pigeon shooter who shoots for a certain land owner must now pay him (the game keeper) £60 per year to shoot pigeons. No longer a free service to land owners.
hi guys, now i know this is going to get me called a few names but this afternoon i got a call from sporting gun and i won a prise in last months mag. a brand new browning b725 and a day shooting. now the Q is- do i go for the sporter or the hunter? i clay shoot every other weekend but i also pigeon shoot. so sporter or hunter?

browning called today and i have opted for the game gun with 30" tubes.
well that's what got me matt, i was the only one that had one, thought i had done something wrong.

hi guys, been a while since i have been on here but need some advice.
have got a nikko stirling gameking 4-16x44 on the rimmy, last week was out doing some bunny bashing but the sun was really catching the scope and i coudnt see a damm thing. have looked around a few sites but couldnt seem to find one. even e-mailed nikko but they havent getting back to me yet. do they make one for this scope? dont really want one of those slip on ones. a sunshade that is.
regards steve.
nice shooting Andy, hope your fac comes sooner than mine did (8 weeks in total) getting rimmy permission is a nightmare so hope your ready for more knockbacks. have just getting permission for a golf club which hasn't been passed so am waiting to get it checked. (3 weeks so far and still counting) have you got a gun picked out yet? i have a toz 78-06. would be happy to let you try it out.
again good shooting.
regards steve
why not do as a lot of us do and carry copies of your permissions in car or gun bag etc.it saves a lot of hastle as farmers dont like being woken up by a coppers knock on door or phone call late at night
hi topgun, i always have my permission slips with me but what am saying is that a holder of a closed ticket has no evidence (from the police) that he has permission to shoot a firearm on that land.
regards steve
i hope so, would be nice to have some kind of proof that your all legal in case you ever get i visit from the old bill while out in the field.
regards steve
