  1. he's mine grey/saluki/collie, can't wait for this season to start
  2. It could have been a young deer he'd killed, it would explain why he didn't drag it out, and there wouldn't be a make on him. Only a possibilty?
  3. There looking good micky, the young one is going to have a bit of go about her by the looks of her, has she seen much yet? Is there any more to your pack? or just the two ? regards smoggy
  4. at first glance could it not be a coal tit, but i don't pretend to be a bird expert regards smoggy
  5. As already been said definently liver fluke, not mixy
  6. Does any one think that this might be a good trap to catch thick b*****d chavs, I might try writing on some walls near me " no chav is strong enough to kick this slab out" and see how many take the bait I'll post any pics if i catch any

  9. Hi mate, It's in this weeks country mens weekly, first page bottom left corner, I can't believe it, as you say they would take some serious food and it's not as if it was over a massive area, cos you ain't going to be able to do much traveling if your dropping one every 12mins, my only thought was, had a van load been dropped off by do gooders from a town, I've heared of eighteen been shot in one field, one after the other, but they didn't have a clue just sat there.
  10. Total agree with you there john
  11. Did any one else see the artical where two lads from the ireland shot 42 foxes in a 9hr session, thats one every 12mins by reckoning Do you think this is for real? cos thats one mighty fox problem! What's the most you got in one night - lets hear your scores on the doors
  12. Here mine saluki, collie, grey coming on great with everything she seen big and small
  13. I might have to come and have a look at him work one night when your out and about my way, mate, see how good he is
  14. I work for a big haulage firm it's cripping us, One artic takes approx 400 litre to fill and you get about 7&1/2 miles to the gallon, I'm glad my car does a bit better than that
  15. I found it to bright in the day in the fields, so I just lamp the burrows now during the day, I shine the lamp down the holes, dazzle the rabbit with the beam then reach in and pull the rabbit out, that is unless they run striaght down the beam into your arms, no need for dogs or nets, great sport, you should waste a couple of hours and give it a try :-)
  16. "Whats his breeding? are his parent good workers? and how much do you want for him"
  17. I'd say someones been fecking round with your traps mate, they are both nicely situated in the bottom corner of your traps and there doesn't seem to be any hair left on the wire, which there would have been if something had sqeezed in and out, had the bait gone or was there many feathers inside or outside cos if something had taken a bird from inside feather would have been everywhere the whole thing justs looks to perfect for my liking, my bets on a anti.

  20. HI, Labs can hunt and catch rabbits no problem, but they do need to be a racey type to catch any mount on the run, we used to have a choclate lab, who would catch rabbits like rattle, but most of these were taken off their seat, before they even got chance to run, But if your only doing it for fun what the hell, it not going to spoil your enjoyment if a few get away. atb smoggy
