  1. they used to empty my layers pellets out of the hen feeders, queing up 5 deep the fuckers. Just another thought, starlings are all over the place and migratory, very often feeding in cow shit..........cows get tb, i wonder if these little fuckers contribute to the spread of the disease ?? as well as our normal suspects ?? Any thoughts ??

I had these myself in the past mate, a good honest hardwearing boot. give them plenty of leather dressing / waterproofing to feed the leather and they'll last you years. Only drawback i find with them, or any other non goretex boot really, they will let the water in after a while, of a fassion. But they are a really good sturdy boot, wear them to work, to the shops, anywhere for a little while to break them in a bit first. Shit hot as a digging boot B
  3. didnt bosun have one up for grabs the other day, have a look see mate, an all edible catching dog i think it was.
  4. as long as its not frosty and you keep the rain off it until it goes off it should be ok mate, once its gone off, leave some sort of material over it until its gone off a few days to ensure the frost dont get into it. should be ok i'd have thought mate, but cover it after for a few days to be on the safe side

  13. A mate of mine is getting a goshawk for his 60th ( and before you jump to conclusions he's had gyr's, sakers, and currently flies harris's, so he genuinely does know what he's on about, and has been at it for years), so, he asked me the other day if i knew of any reputable breeders that may have a young bird for sale in the spring,( I think he intends rearing it himself ). He hunts his birds so he wants a bird from good working lines. Now i know f**k all about goshawks ( only they wiped my garden pigeons out a few years ago) so i thought i'd come on here and simply ask the question. I
