  9. friend, if you are thinking of getting into the dog game and have little of no experience of lurchers, start off with another cross, a bit easier on the blood pressure. You may strike lucky and get a bull x thats got the make up of a collie cross mentality, but chances are it will be what most are, intelligent, headstrong and high prey drive. It will suss out soon enough that you are a novice and will end up running rings around you. I'm not trying to say they are non starters for newbie lurcher owners, but be carefull before you make your fInal choice, as it may, quite literally, come bac
  10. outstanding litter of pups them. Seen goose myself, thought he was over 26 myself tbh, if its the same dog as owned by the fella that also owns coco ???? it surely is, not many dogs called "goose" these days. he's a nice stamp of dog.
  11. I'd leave it be a couple of days so he has got that last little episode out of his mind, then take him again, you may find that he has reverted back to his old self, i reckon if you take him straight back out with that in the front of his mind it may do more harm than good, if you get my drift. Entirely your choice mate.
  12. you wanna harp on about four wheeled wanking material mate, fill yer little boots, i'll harp on about what i see relevent in the thread, and it certainly isnt the f****n knight rider wannabee airfix kit with the one wiper.
  13. dont be disheartened jd, you have put the foundations in, her prey drive is starting to kick in as has already been said, your foundations will be there in the background, she knows better, she's just being cocky. Sometimes, certain pups, have to make a mistake to be corrected. Its almost a regular occurrence mate, it'll pass, stick to your game plan, and above all, be consistent in what you do. good luck. b
  14. never mind the f*****g ugly car, look at the colour of the c**t taking delivery of it ffs, a lot nearer magnolia than he is white...................and he aint the delivery driver thats for certain :censored: . Enoch Powell was right.............
  15. I told you Gnasher would know !!! cheers Gnash for clearing that up for us
  16. That is a lovely set up mate....as good as you'll ever get is a steyr manlicher in all honesty, puts my parker hale in the shade a bit in comparison . If i had the money and enough work to justify it mate, i'd be on my way up to you now.
  17. Ask Gnasher, he knows his onions on that game fair play to him, and he'll give you an honest answer, if he dont know, he'll tell you that as well, but i've a sneaky feeling that he will know the answer. b
  18. well don mal. and best of luck to you and the new club for the future Regards B
  19. worth a try mate, but honest answer...... i think you'll be lucky to be honest.... i hope i'm wrong, but if you'd been nicked for not returning your library books or speeding etc, it would be better than affray on your record... charged or not. But hey, if you dont ask mate you'll never find out....go for it. Best of luck to you. Regards B
  20. its a completely natural picture of a little man completely at home in the company of hounds...........i bet he ends up a natural with them or other working dogs when he's older, whatever "it" is, he's got it already. Lovely picture. B
