  1. one thing i have found in the past, if its gastro or ecoli, if you get to the stage where they are keeping food down, and are starting fluids as well, when they start feeding, mix in a tablespoonfull of natural yoghurt into the food, it helps greatly to promote the good gut bacteria and assists in re balancing the gut back to normal. All advice on here seems on the money to be fair, and the manuka honey part is 100% correct. A mate of mine 's dog had a flesh wound, took to vets, stiched up, dog pulled stitches out asap, he started dressing the wound with manuka honey, he told me himself,
  2. i used to work alongside a fella who used vegetable oil, smelt like a chip shop on a saturday night wafting through the sticks lol. Power lube i know is widely used and highly recomended, i would use oregan, but the difference in price leans you towards the one i bought. If theres any problems, rest assured i shall report it on here. Cheers

  7. Thats as much of a c**ts trick as stealing a dog off someone, you may not have much money, not live in a palace, but you must always have your word, dont give it lightly, and always stand by it when given. Very poor show that, very poor indeed. There is honour amongst tieves, supposedly. Very dissapointing imo, very dissapointing indeed. B
  8. tuffty Nice looking dog in your avatar mate.
  9. i'm glad you get my drift A, wasnt sure if it came accross thats all. I think the shorter the length of lead as opposed to the collar is better as well for the dog and handler, as a 22" dog say for sake of argument, will have a lot of material to run through the "D" even after the collar has come away from his neck as he's going forward. Cracking idea though mate, and we all know what standard they will be made to, as is all your other gear. All the best B
  10. the only thing i can see to an otherwise spot on design A is, when you slip, "and the dog takes of at the speed of light", the end you have released will go down and through your brass "D", because of the length of it before it reaches the "D", and the sheer velocity of the dogs take off, will it not possibly over run, like a whiplash, and possibly tangle itself up???, going ahead of the collar itself ?? due to the fact that its fixed to the collar at one end. Does that make sense to you mate ?? I know what i'm trying to get accross but it may not have come accross that well lol.
