    So with it being this time of year when it does not get dark until around 11:00 its hard work getting out with the lamp especially if you have work the next day, so instead I have been going out at about 9:30 to see if I can call some cubs in. So last night me and a mate of mine went to some land he owns where people have seen cubs around. I had with me my new Sako Quad in .17HMR using ballistic Winchesters (best round I have used).     Hi Yes I have one of these chaps and have it mounted on my .22 rimfire and sometimes on my FAC air. and 22.250 As you know they are a little pricey but heck so is diesel Having had over the years several different scope mounted lights I certainly would recommend one of these. I use it with an amber or red filter. It is best to get the Pro one with the variable switch as much of your time you will find that by being able to turn it down when close to rabbits/foxes it won't spook them and also gives longer battery life.     Synthetic stock all the way.Had a cz in .17hmr wooden stock,barrel pushed to one side due to wood swelling also got very annoyed when a scratch developed on the stock.Now own a sako quad which is lighter,feels good,looks good and no longer worry about the barrl being pushed out.

    Hi there liam,good choice of gun.I am picking a .17hmr sako quad this weekend in synthetic stock.So iv heard it is very accurate,the stock looks good to,visit sako website to see it.If you dont fancy that then i have heard from my local gun shop that cz have brought out a synthetic stock model so might be worth you contacting your local gun shop to see if they have heard anything!Hope I have gave you sum help.

    Hi there,wondering if any one can answer my question.I have a cz bruno,heavy barrel and i am thinking of having the barrel shortened.What do you think would be an ideal lenghth?Also is it possible to get a T4 to fit this rifle,if so please send me a link?Cheers
