    so its well worth the time isnt it, got a 9mth pup so gona start . thanks Lurchergrrl Mine is 9 months too, and faultless on lead now. You needn't overwork the pup, as Litterlurcher says, but the dog will get more benefit out of a good steady pace - which usually means you get a bit of benefit from it too have you got any piccys of your pup/ what breed is it?

    I have heard that regulary road walking runnig dogs is important for them, can anyone tell me if it is? i can see that it would be good for the claws, but dose it make any diffrence from exersise on grass lets say cheers .....
