    my mrs is Polish we go over a few times every year, the amount of deer, fox and hare over there always amazes me they are everywhere,i have yet to see a wild rabbit and am lead to believe they are almost extinct. Shooting is very big over there and it is definitely illegal to hunt with sight hounds,

    a saluki x bred for the fens thank you does it have to be a saluki x..or will anything do like say a beddi whippet!! any dog will do once it walks on the fen it becomes a fen dog, ok thats great thank you oh yeah does a water spanial walk on water? !!!!

    youve probaly got most of the suff in your home first aid box, bandages tape sissors ect,, skinstaples are essential mate they will save you a fortune, get some vet wrap is good to for damaged stoppers ect,, warm salt water is as good as anything for cleaning cuts, just found out recently about something called "cut and heal " this really speeds up the healing of bites.

    i too have seen snipe run on vairious quarry and he will take some beating,would of loved to see this dog run in his prime like you say Ray he is ten now and is only now showing signs of slowing down a bit.

    Ideation sounds like it could of really been bad ,i hope he makes a full recovery ,, .I had a lurcher that did some ligament damage from a bad cut ,it looked like she would never run again.... once the cut healed properly i did small walks with her ,and gradually built up to long road walks then to on the lead behind the bike under the vets advice i got her on a treadmill ,i had her on that for half and hour every night for 2 1/2 months ,she came very strong on the leg, when i came to work her which was slowly introduced her she ran like nothing had ever happened . be lucky mate.
