  1. always put the collar on before you enter the ferret (no pervy feedback please) don't forget to lay the nets before entering make sure you put the right collar on...i remember sticking batteries in one checking it then putting the spare collar on with no batteries in
  2. Bet taken! but for the first time ever - I hope I lose! If anyone mentions it, it will be the Presenter whilst playing devils advocate to a Veggie. So far the only views the Estate owner has had a chance to put across was about gun saftey and as for poor Arthur! bet he just wants to slap them upside the head and knock some sense into them. He's a far more patient man than me! When the Presenter said this is Arthurs job and the blonde bint replied 'well he's stupid then' she's just bloody lucky they didn't hear her! It's a long lonely walk back to civilisation!!! (chance to see if them sco
  3. well had her out yesterday for the first time with a couple of friends and another fhh, onto some fairly open land with the fert. Didn't really go according to plan though. Firstly ended up with two digs . She had two flights that she missed, the first she went after but the twat with my mate decided to let his bird off as mine gave chase which ended with his bird taking the rabbit and mine left sitting in a small hawthorne bush refusing to come down to the fist even when i offered a doc she kept looking at the other bird and the food in my hand, i think it was going through her mind that th
  4. the sight of that brings back memories of me old grandad, he had a grand old burner in his shed which i used to huddle around as a kid...happy days often see them at boot sales, gonna pick myself up one this year and spend next winter reminiscing with his favourite tipple of scotch
  5. i just don't understand the mentality of these inbreds. If a fox or bird takes a rabbit, it's called a predator and is natural. If we take one with whatever tool of the trade we desire to use we are called cruel and a lot worse, yet ours is often the more quicker and humane way of dispatching. It's not as though we do it for fun and leave them on the floor for every fecker to see. They are used to feed our families, dogs, ferrets & birds, just wait and see in the next few months ahead your gonna see a lot more people poaching and taking or trying to take rabbits for an easy food source wit
  6. no, it's a horrible disease like many others out there. It affects people from all walks of life and i wouldn't wish it on anyone wealthy, poor, colour or creed
  7. i was thinking of this myself, can't you just hook up to the existing flue? how easy is it to re-line and whats involved? and how much did it cost to have the chimney checked out?
  8. if you and your family have been through this you'd understand.the money is meaningless mate i'm on the bread line but i still feel for the guy rich or not. exactley think of how old macca felt when he lost his first wife, all that money & nowt could help must be sickening...and yeah i know he's an anti before any wise cracks

  13. just watched the duck one, rabbit tomorrow. Some of them on there were a right load of inbreds....bottom lip quivering etc when the plucking was commencing. It never ceases to amaze me how many people are out there eating meat out of plastic wrapping who basically have no clue to where it originated or better still find it easier to pop into the oven after someone else has done all the dressing for them. Good show though, informative and always good to have something of interest in the likes of our sport on the box. I wonder if this will be available on dvd or if it will get binned like they

  15. standing order cancelllllllllleeeeedddddd, now wait for the shit to hit the fan
  16. thats the problem, money goes in by standing order to a account...she's gonna pick it, but i presume i'm gonna be there....a rings a ring to me, all look the same apart from size i suppose...just a lump of metal at the end of the day. Funny thing are girls you know....was just talking to a friend who said i've got a nice engagement ring for sale, i asked how much (not that i would buy it ) she replied "only joking, i love it its gorgeous. But i would never wear it again" now where is the sense in that i ask

  20. thought you was a lady of leisure...or was that pleasure
  21. right there, don't get me wrong not a money grabber, just that this just a ring. No celebrations, probably no wedding down the line either, i say engagement ring loosely but thats for my satisfaction...don't think its hers
  22. Blimey somebody's had a bad experience! Crafty, if she only wants something to better what her mates have got, you've really got to ask yourself ... are you sure you want to put that ring round her finger? If I were ever to get married again I wouldn't care if the ring was second hand, antique ... whatever. It would be the meaning behind it, that it was special to me for whatever reason. If you're going to spend that much on a ring Crafty, I think you're out of your box! yeah i know thanks. i knew the answer before i started the thread, just had to confirm for my own s
