  2. Just had my visit for renewal and asked for my ticket to be opened and to add a 17 HMR on ticket, got asked a couple of weird questions and was told the HMR should be fine but not to sure about open ticket because and I quote "they're a little touchy about open tickets" .....strange lot!, let's just wait and see what happens

Congrats mate, just found out recently that I'm to be a grandad, god that makes me sound old.....
  5. The girl is right dear....it has to be Colchester zoo... If i have to swap trains then its a no go .. i am just not programmed to get off one train onto another .. i will get lost .. thats why i picked Euston as its one train sorry i thought you was going home after....that means two trains.... not that hard after all is it

  7. Can't believe that mate, i don't get on here much these days but i'm sat here with my mhh on the fist just chilling and read that from start to finish. A great thread mate and i'm absolutely gutted for you.
  8. Cheers folks, i just had to make an honest woman of her after all these years. Things have been a little up & down just recently, but i love her with all my heart and can't live without her, nearly lost her at one point due to my own stupidity...never again. Thanks Kay......
  9. Not been on here that much lately but i thought i would share some photo's of last Thursday. After twelve years together we finally decided to tie the knot....
  10. i know what you mean Kay, i took the digi slr to the festival of falconry on sunday, hadn't used it in a few months and most of the pics were crap, was rushing things, very p***** off, but thats life. At the end of the day at least you are not paying for developing a film and throwing good money away thats the great thing with digital ......
  11. Popped down the festival on Sunday, had a great time, spent far too much money and the weather was grand unlike the the forecast that was predicted...even managed to get a little burnt. Anyhow heres a few pics, sorry not fantastic most of them mainly the birds turned out crap....ain't got a clue what happened to them but heres a few that were ok.
  12. i'd say chrono it, i had exactly the same problem with me air arms, took it out and couldn't hit a thing it got so bad you could see the pellet drop when looking through the scope. Ran it through the chrono and found a massive power drop, changed all the seals and shes been as good as gold since...got the seals through ebay even a dvd thrown in to show you what to do if you ain't got a clue
  13. Just googled rabbit live traps and found this while i was browsing, anyone seen it before. (The last article) http://www.againstcorvidtraps.co.uk/
  14. i've only ever driven my series 3, great off road but no good if you want comfort or plenty of mpg. Discos a good bet, the suzukis are a good little motor off road and good for getting down those narrow tracks but the drawbacks are bad fuel economy and parts are quite expensive not too sure about the troopers and diahatsu heard good things about them though..
  15. oh yes...those were the days mate, not a care in the world. To tell you the truth i was looking at getting another scooter for the summer, but i never bothered with my test at the time, could kick myself now.
  16. i always use the anti bacterial spray for the glove, traveling box prior to hosing out, and scrubbed up the birds feet and even perches without a problem and this was passed down to me from mates in avian pest control who do it all the time. I always have a bottle in the landy great for spraying and scrubbing your hands prior to eating or after a few hours out with the gun after gutting rabbits or shooting pigeon....
  17. give it up, will probably be quicker to chase em and tap it over the head with the butt
  18. try whitechapel in London.....plenty of winehouse lookalikes strutting around there.....
  19. another hair do....you in the new star trek movie by any chance :whistling: pink vulcan
  20. get it all the time here...i'm over the local wood fields with all three lurchers on leads and you have some twat on the horizion about 3/4 of a mile away who's dog has decided to make it's way over to me. Can get a bit nasty at times...tossers
