  6. hi everyone Was just wondering how much better the top end scopes are over the cheaper ones? i currently have a hawke airmax sr6 4-12x44 on my hw100 and am happy with the accuracy, zoom and clearness but then again ive never looked through say a mtc viper or bushnell scope for example. what im asking is although im fairly happy with my scope i feel like i want to upgrade but isit worth the extra money? will i see a diffrence that justifies an extra £100-200? thanks in advance john

  9. hi there i dont have any experience in s10 but i have a hw100 carbine and the acuracy is great i also rate this rifle very highly as a hunting tool aswel as the occasional target fun. hope this helps i know a few guys on here use the super10 and will give you better answers regarding that gun regards john

Stubby...I have heard this so many times from so many people and they find it such a chore they tend not to do it.....by all means phone the police EVERY time you go BUT...get your URN which lasts for 3 months minimum..often 6, and tell the police you will be there day and night any time dring this period..problem solved, with one phone call!! nice on deker didnt know about the URN will look into that too

  12. finallyyyyyy got my first permission lads its on a cricket club that my boss plays for, ive been there once and its got plenty of rabbits to knock off for dinner! soon as my forms are signed and i get a few hours over there ill post up pictures. thanks for everyone who gave me advice on how to get it. happy hunting john

  14. what theobens you got in mind lads? im liking the old school look of the hw90 though are they good up to about 20ftlbs?
  15. is the recoil a problem with a tuned gas-ram compared to a tuned springer? i know there will b recoil in both but im looking for a model with the minimum and maximum accuracy, weight and price is not an issue.
  16. hi all i was thinking about getting a tuned springer or gas ram rifle in 177. as a subsitute rifle to shoot for my hw100 in 22. i loved my 97k but i prefer the thought of having gas ram as you can leave them cocked longer without causing damage but thats all i really understand about them, what top end rifles can you recomend and avoid? any helps great cheers lads john
  17. hi mate i recently bought a hw100 second hand with a hawk air max scope for £500 and i can honestly say its the best gun by miles ive ever shot, so easy to load, it makes no noise when shot, accuracy wise i shoot 5p groups at 50yards and its 22. i couldnt recommend this gun enought for hunting and im sure the other guys on here will tell you the same! good luck john

  23. i know theres alot of lubes and oils but i dont know what ones are best and where to put them all any advice or suggestions, also pellet lube... anyone have results with that? regards john
