Cacking looking red bitch mate, how old is she? any plans for breeding from her? I'm new to the world of terriers and thought the season was over? Is it a case of if the keeper calls it's best to help out to keep the permission? no offence meant by the way, just asking in case i'm ever in that situation.

Saw a documentary on whether there's big cats in Britain a while ago, a guy was filming a fox on hill in Devon when a black cat at twice the size of the fox came ito the picture and the fox ran like hell!!! absolutely no doubting what it was. They said that a lot of big cats were released into the wild by owners in the 70's when the keeping of big cats became illegal.

Hi, Was just wandering if anyone could give me some advice, i have a 13month old patt and he seems to be malting hair continuosly. not balding or anything just leaves hair everywhere. He's a smooth coated black dog. Is this natural? I thought patts were'nt meant to shed hair. Am getting earache from the wife as the hoover is in constant use!!

Cheers Scent mate, A lot of the farmers i have spoke have said hat they had been let down by others who have their permission before and had basically taken the P*ss. Will keep trying tho!!

Hi to all, I'm one of the people that joined recently but have been waiting to make my first post as my camera is on the blink and can't download any photo's of my two terriers. I have one lakeyxpatt and one black smooth patt(both from working bakgrounds). I am a complete novice on working terriers and i would like to get started. I was wandering should i start them out on ratting firstand see how they go on? also how do most of you manage to gain so much permission on land, i have tried round my local area and been met with a firm no from the farmers, anyone got any tips on how to approac
