    Fair enough ,what about the reserve? do you think that dog has everseen any work or is going too. When none working terriers are displayed at working shows it takes the piss and organisers and judges let themselves down. Give them a seperate class , no harm in that. If people dont work thier dog what are they doing at working show.In my opinion its dishonest and promotes shit..worker to worker simple. If the winner was/is then great ,i,ll gladly apologise..

    wise words indeed moorman. we,re lucky in this country to have a variety of contions/ground so a variety of terriers to suit are needed each with their own qualies. this is evident with past terrier men breeding types to suit their locality. I use russels myself cos they suit me..If i was else where I would use what suited the type of land I worked. earths in my area are nearly always old rabbit buries so i use bitches only around 11". Thats what suits me but in other parts something bigger may be needed. Use the dog that suits the land..jmho

    Got a 2year old , absolute beast , single handed at 14 months. Feet are the best on any lurcher I,ve had. Needs regular work or gets "boisterous" , 27" at the shoulder with no probs picking up on the run or squating.

    Went up on the Sunday for the dog,s.. like a lot of people was looking at the skies..cant blame the organisers for the weather for christ,s sake..like the man said a lot of shows cancelled , they didn,t..Didn,t see much of the terriers but the lurchers were cracking with a lot of different faces than usual.Judging was thorough and fair i thought (even if i didn,t win)lol..I go because of the dog,s ,stalls are an add on..the guy doing the longnetting might need medication..Looking forward to next year..

    To class a dog as 100% it has to be doing the job required at that time. I,ve got bayer,s and "hard" dogs.Each is used depending on what I need at the time.Not rockett science .I,ve had situations like having to move one from a land drain , no chance of digging or bolting so I use a"harder" terrier to pull it out. Other days I have been required to bolt or dig to them for the hounds. If I put in a dog that finished it under ground I wouldn,t welcome back. Nothing set in stone

    If you don,t work your dogs to ground and never have you shouldn,t be judging them , simple as..Of coarse there,s poor male judge,s but how meny women can honestly say that they have dug to thier dogs?. Lurchers it seems have a greater female following and so you would expect some women judge,s but working terriers , come off it..The only colouring on my terriers is blue spray....

    We should all move to Montana!!! lol..I really loved the US and have friends for life there , i was up in illinoi and wisconson mainly.Absolutly beautiful and as I said wonderful people. But like I said I,ve never been insituations where there was so much mistrust between people of different colour.Blacks didn,t talk to white , whites didn,t speak to hispanics and so on. People have to remember that the US is the size of a continant with a population to match.Maybe the different states should go thier own way giving people the chance to live where the laws suit them?

    I,ve been to America a couple of times and was treated extreamly well and have put a good few up when they have come over to my family . All were decent people but the level of race division on BOTH sides shocked me. Also thier understanding of the world out side of the US was limited.Video clips like blue cyote put up are seen as fact by meny .If the poor sod makes it to Christmas I,ll be suprised (but happy). LAND OF THE FREE ,if you do as your told!!
