  1. I'd believe it. Any sign of a Varmint 85 available yet in Ireland?
  2. Good Pic John. Although I recommend you don't pics of yourself in future
  3. Bullet expansion will be a problem. 30 cal jackets are too thick!!!
  4. You said it, not me Any way off off to my pit. Good night
  5. Its possible to reload .308 to subsonic levels. Main thing to remember is too generate enough velocity in the first place so that the bullet leaves the barrel.
  6. The .223 tikkas either have a 1 in 8 or 1 in 12 twist, not 1 in 10. Unless its not a stock barrel. If its a lite it doesn't have a heavy barrel Have you tried without moderator? Have you checked scope/mounts? Is it a new rifle ie, has is shot good groups and gone bad? Is it cleaned properly? :stupid: + Check that the barrel is floating properly, a piece of paper such as a bank note should fit up between the barrel and the stock. I have a sneaking feeling that the weight of the mod may be letting the barrel come in contact with the stock. Having previously owned a T3 I know
  7. What does it seem like so?? Eh, there is a BIT of skill involved!!! Lamping foxes is an effective method of fox control. I don't know much about hunting with dogs so I won't make comments good nor bad about it. I could say its cruel and takes the fox a long time to die, but I honestly don't know. All I know is slapping a fox with a .223 and its game over, if you do your part right he's dead before he hits the ground.
  8. +1 I agree with vegeta a 3-9X40 would be minimum
