anyone seen shooting times today????????????? a bunch of antis who stood in front of the guns at a duck shoot in lancashire....have got away with it!!!!!! to cut a long story short.....their lawyer got them off, beause..............the shoot didn't have a health and safety policy/risk assesment................beggers beleif!!!!!!!!! just a warning..if your organising a shoot, health and safety in place so the buggers cant get away with it again. regards sean

hello mate, just read an article on airgunbbs forum................apparently you can fire 10 pellets through a chrono.......and pc unhelpful will take an average. so... if you have some over 12ft lbs and some under.....it can still average at over 12...bye bye gun!! don't know the real answer to this apart from trying every brand of pellet and seeing which works at the optimum through your rifle....setting it to that......then anything else you use is below 12 ft/lbs..........................nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just for the info..........ft/lbs x 1.355817 = joules therfore 12 ft/lbs = 16.269804 joules no i'm not an anorak, just like to understand stuff ( coney, top of the class) all the best sean

air rifles are rated in ft/lbs and joules.............i think but dont quote me 12 ft lbs = 15 joules. i know it dosn't answer your question but m sure someone will offer more info in due course. all the best sean
