------------------------------------------------------------------------- So as mentioned today I popped out for the same sorta thing. Was much warmer today and not very comfortable missioning about in the direct sun for feather and fur to see. I cast my mind back to the day before and seeing all the crows near the barley and had thought about where I could ambush them and make use of their loitering near the Barley. They like it where the grass field joins the crops, so I chose the bottom of the field to focus on where their is much more hide areas available and I had seen them

Afternoon fellow airgunners, I havent been at it as much recently to my dismay as I've been at Download Festival (Donnington) from Wed-Mon just gone Wasn't dismay at the festival but when returning my car way having a bracket replaced and I've been put down to work all nights this week until tomorrow when I drive down with a mate to near Falmouth, Cornwall, to do some sea fishing!! We're not full on fisherman just having fun catching some food, have had a fair bit of success off the rocks in the past though. Wow great shot mate. I used to have catapults when younger my mum got me on them straight away. I think she was a believer that if you let kids have these 'forbidden' things then its better than you sneeking around lying behind her back with one shooting at peoplles cars! I never shot an animal with them but have shot plenty of mates!! (I know you shouldnt but we all used to have on eeach and do 6 vs 6 up the woods, full camo, bases the lot). Some of my fondest childhood memories were those battles! 2 groups of people that were enemies yet friendly enough to organise these battles! Nothing

If your starting out / not been doing it for ages and you want some quality get a new HW95K. Even a good quality second hand one will be fine. As Zini said they are the best springer probably in the world for there rough weight group. Sure a 97k may beat it slightly on the FT range but its a different gun. What we mean by that is that some spring guns that are made by the same company e.g Weihrauch, are heavier and use the same sort of technology. Some of these guns e.g HW80. HW97 are alot heavier to use, which some people think is better, and some think is worse. They are just different

Sorry to hear this mate! No chance of air gunning in your new lands?? Jack

Anyway I will end it there as I have ranted for ages. We went out last night but wasnt as much about as we thought for some reaon, 2 rabbits each and hugo got a crow we couldnt get out the tree. We spent about 20 minutes throwing rocks to knock it but it was truely hooked i nthe tree!! Soar arm today!! Hugo had his 'head and shoulders' camo he made at camp. Picture is few seconds after he dropped a bunny at about 35 meters. End of night, 4 smallies and a very dead crow in a tree. Cheers Sandwell and cheers Zini for raising their name. I think Hugo and his bro will both be

Hello all, Everythings come together over the last few days which is good. Friday afternoon I was thinking over my scope which had the parrallax ring come loose (with distances not the main one). Hawke told me that they take it to 100 meters, highest magnification, find best picture then attach, send in if I wanted, or do it myself. Tony at Sandwell when I had mentioned it to him when dropping my gun off on tuesday said you could do it at 30 meters in the same way but dont take a stupid ammount of notice to it as it comes into play alot more when using ranges associated with full

Hello mate, good shooting as always. Guess what.... Less than 5 days and Tony is readyfor me with the 95K. Me and Hugo are driving there after a cup of tea and hes kindly asked me to bring along my scope with the problem so he can have a look at it (I was probing his knowledge on scope probs)! What a gent. Hugo has decided to upgrade his really old nikko stirling silver standard crosshair (real classic feel scope from 90's)to a proper modern one and I'm taking him to Tony as he's the man hahaha :gunsmilie: Will update soon..
