Yeh totally mate. Upto 25 meter I was always within the inch killzone but anything past that I wasn't happy with. With my 95k at 25 meters I'm expecting to put 5-10 shots through a hole 5p size and alot of time smaller. So getting a 1 nch grouping was frustrating with the 97KT. I did pack up in the end after missing a 25 metre anyway so am on the same trail of thought as yourself! Cheers Jack

Hello all, My freshly tuned 95k met disaster a few days ago when the cocking lever came away on one side of its fixing. I've sent it off to Sandwell Fieldsports and it will be back fixed tomorrow or tuesday I'm told . I've got access to a 97K and a 97KT while my gun is away and have managed to get out once or twice with them inbetween doing some fishing. I'm in love with sea fishing but being so far from the sea only get to do it sometimes, lake fishing just isnt as good! Anyway I headed out the other night thinking it was perfect and I was going to have a great night on it.

Hello all, My friend recently bought a Webley Raider 10, and in the deal he got this bottle. We drove and had it filled for a tenner from scratch, so its a good full fill. Week or two later the gun turns out faulty and ending up buying a Weihrauch HW97KT instead he didnt need the bottle but the buggers would take it back as it was 'used'. This is a brand new fully charged 3 litre tank, had 3-4 refills maximum on a Webley Raider so loads to go still. £110 INCLUDING deliverey as its gonna cost a ton. Get in touch if interested. Jack

Holy good shooting mate. I was out last night only a few miles from yourself but a combination of bad hayfever and suprisingly very little about (last night wa sperfect aswell?!) I only got the one kit. Was using my mates un-tuned 97KT and after shooting a tuned rifle I can't enjoy un-tuned! I can see why you've had all yours done. Its just simply too loud to hunt with at the same level of stealth I could achieve with the tuned 95k! Bring back my 95k arghhH!! Aroudn that time in august mate is when we should do a swinging past meet up... Would make sense,m and I'll have my gun ba

Hello mate and welcome to the forums. Pigeons on my permission match the explanations above, very wary and next to impossible to stalk, Like Davy mentioned, if you can take note of regular routes they fly with stop offs on particular tree's then you may be in a better situation to ambush them, or just sit somewhere either partially concealed or fully if you have time to make some sort of hide, and wait for them to land when passing through and slowly raise gun and shoot then you couod be on to a winner. Some people have pigeons on there land that are very tame in comparsion and don

Yeh well he is off to Afghanistan soonish mate so he probably wont be massivley keen until he gets back, but yeh I can imagine that if any gun is going to come out from the Sandwell lab a perfect shooter it would be the 97! If your over this way at any point in July mate give us a message with a bit of a headsup if you can, even just for a little bit. Its 15 minutes from my house in Chipping Norton to Banbury and my permission is few miles outside Banbury also. Hopefully my 95k would be back by then (see my 'not all stories topic'. If not I have two 97's to use! All the best Jack

Hello mate, particularly effective at a rough time of day e.g early morning? Or do your corvids go for it whenever? Like I said the only one who came by wasnt even interested! Must of been on a diet or something! Jack

What you giving it Jack, "not being perfect?" Actually placing the shot there and destroying the cerebellum is the most sure fire way of making sure they go down I think we shoot towards the centre of the line between eye and lug, simply because it gives a margin for error and it will decimate the brain. But I'd lay money on the fact that when you shot the bunny there, it went down without a twitch? and it probably just 'Rolled Over' rather than performing a final jump? A shot to be PROUD of that is and the whole story is well written, thoroughly enjoyable and very deserving of

Have you done what I said above? Is it just not filling up? Jack

Hello mate, I'm not a regular PCP user so I can onyl help so much. Have youi ever filled one before or is there something going wrong? Are you using a tank or pump? Attach the end into the gun and turn the tank so air is flowing, watchthe pin move to about 170-190 sort of area (I'm being safe) and turn it off. Are you doing this and its not filling? More peoples advice should follow soon mate but next time you may get help a bit quicker if you put it in the technical section! Best of luck mate give us a message back and we'll try help further! Jack

Hello all, If you have read my hunting post which ended in this problem occuring then you will know what I am talking about. Its at the end of the post but you can read all of it if you like!! http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/160272-not-all-stories/ So here are some pictures. Its heavily greased up so hard to see. After a crack the lever arm was loose and no longer connected to where it was before. However I cant see a fresh break, nor can I understand what held it in place before. In one of the pictures im holding it back in place and cannot understand how it

Hello all, I have been fairly busy recently trying to load the bank account again working a majority of the week, and ontop of this spent a week in Cornwall fishing with a mate to fairly good success. Firstly I will mention I have mainly only been able to get out in afternoon shooting slots as I've usually been working the evening shifts at work and they can get quite late ruling out the morning slots! Most people make a point that afternoon shoots aren't very productive, and in terms of rabbits thats quite often the case. My main problem with afternoon shoots is the heat. I like t

JackReid replied to Shaunm41's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
If your wanting to shoot live animals mate you may need a more powerful rifle for the further distances but I'm sure its fine for closer range work! Hope you get on ok. Jack -
