Didnt see many springer 'tell hows' so heres mine..(not that anything is unusual, just free hand shooting no vice etc or rest) I go buy a pack of targets and goto the permission out the way of rabbit areas near the car, drawing pin one up on 'the post' go to about 10-12 yards and shoot for bull and try and get my horizontal band on. Do that till your pretty sure its bang on (if not certain) then go back to say 25 big paces and bring the vertical down so Im hitting bull dead on. This all helps the warm up etc, I find a rushed zero leaves me ensure and if im ensure I dont shoot well. Eventua

Like the avatar mate, although don't you know it's rude to point your weapon at people......? Hahaha, Well its alright because I took the picture! Agggeess ago!

I use a Weihrauch HW95K, which is a break barrell so will have a louder shot than yours, as it is precharged and has no spring. Is your a multishot? im not as familair with the AA Series, Practise on targets and when your good enough go hunt!

Yeh I went through a tin of them recently and they were perfectly good but I ahve revolved back to AA diablo field. Cant beat a nice fitting well made standard done like rws superdomes! You just dont need the huge added weight on a pellet because of drop when if you hit the right spot the pellet does the job whatever! Jack

On target to chop it down!

We have almost chopped this post down from rigirous zero and practise seshons, sometimes 2-3 people firing on different targets!

2 I brought back one forgotten, fox will have it (farmer likes the fox as it is enormous so feeding is encouraged hhaha?)

Greetings all. Been shooting everyday recently and getting into the new scope nicely. Also got the camera back o nthe go and liek to take a few snaps out on the farm! Plus at least once or month or two you see something amazing like huge deer very close etc etc So its worth having one on you! Had a good hunt yesterday grabbing a break in the rain at about 2pm and it was well worth it! Loads of rabbits out also grabbing a break from the rain. Nailed nother two awesome headshots from 27rds and 35yrds. (Pics on mobile but nstruggling to get them on PC. So anyway I went out tongiht with a m

Went over to the second of two places me and my shooting mate can shoot. Its a friends house with a very very large farm but its very open field and croppy sort of land. However there are quite a serious ammount of rabbits there. Couple of weeks ago after a frustrating evening shoot we headed out at dark in a Caterpillar farm commander with the mate who ownes the land driving and me and my mate 15-20 ft up i nthe basket using the main headlights to see and a good torch with us. Only nailed one but it was fun enough as it is! Serious buzz driving about in that thing! Did have to watch out for p

So has no-one bothered to look at this link I posted!!?? Forget all the toys we use over here and take a look, you might just come up with 'the most powerful air rifle' Why didnt he shoot for head? Piecing the lungs sounds pretty much like shooting a rabbit in the arse with a .22 11.5ftlb... 15 minutes? Surely an eye shot would be better? Correct me if I'm wrong!

Which is heavier, A stone of feathers or stone of lead?

Yeh we have had quite a few run-ins with electric fences, usually pretty funny. Anyone new who comes we always tell em to hock up a rabbit on this certain fence which you would never think was electric and bang it gets them! Hahaha! Good times! Jack

havent posted since this happened the other week, so I will say what happened. A good few months ago i dropped my gun when walking into a low fallen electric fence i hadnt seen and got shocked like mad a good few times and it landed with all weight of fall and gun on the eye peeice bending it down. The scope was a Hawke Night eye 3-11 (think) x44. Used the gun fine after bending the eye peice back into place but ti always annnoye dme and sometimes would ahve to bend the 2 peice displacement back into its spot. (Only about 0.5 mm). So I went to a new farm with my mate (scratchbat) and were a

Were you lamping or something? How an earth to you get so many? Was the place totally riddled? Do the rabbits just not go down after seeing a few mates get nailed?

Mine has a longer silencer than yours? That seems to vary in the 95ks? Howcome your wood is much lighter? Looks really good, did you do that yourself? If so how did you do it? Looks good!

Greetings all, At the permission I shoot on we have thinned out the rabbits big style, and now want to focus o nthe crows. Its a large permission with all sorts of coverage, but the crows our very open field sort of crows, not like village crows our town crows. They can spot you coming ove r a hill at 300m with no problem and take off. the farmer wants them dead because theyre eating/knocking off all the barley heads. Me and a friend set up in a hedge row with a cammo net hanging over at about midday, put some bait out (fresh cut open rabbit) on a big pile of crap and wai

I dotn know the in's and outs of how mixy gets a rabbit but its unmistable pretty much after real early stages. Theyre eyes like fully puss up until the are like blind and they just rot away basically. Probably quite a few more ways it kills but Im not certain. Not nice. First one I have seen at this place and been hitting it 4 nights a week for 3-4 months. Jack

Have been shooting quite a few night on the trot now. Trie da bit of crow hunting yesterday to not much avail using one decoy (maybe the problem) and some bait then setting up in side a hedge onto their position, couldnt get the b*****ds to land and one or two that came in spotted us despite being under a camo not the lot. Will just have to keep trying. Either way got a few rabbits over the nights, Seem to be not getting a thing until the last 30 mins of the shoot. First picture I had a rabbit bounce out at about 4 yrds as I was fairly parrallel with a familiar spot. I was on the ground and de

Greetings all. Suffering from a hungover here from my mates 21st BBQ yesterday, Decided to take along 4 rabbits (3 from night before, 1 from a few days ago) and a squirell (the squirell in my house sitting topic haha) to the BBQ to mix it up a bit! Most the girls werent impressed at the frozen squirell in a bag, but if they only knew the fate in which their burgers came to be! Squirel had it much quicker! Anyway the night before the BBQ, me and a mate who has had a few probs with his gun sorted it all out and had a good rezero with me and we set out to the usual farm. I had found another wh
