Sounds like interdigital cysts, or a chronic deep pyoderma. Sometimes respond to long courses of antibiotics, but some require surgery to cure Jim -
There's no lungworm in dogs. Roundworms go through a migratory stage involving the lungs which can cause a soft cough. Kennel cough? Upper respiratory infection? Harsh/soft cough? What age is pup, and is he off colour at all? Jim

It's a POM-V and can't be obtained without a prescription. Speyed a bitch today that had had one of these injections 4 weeks ago - yuk; uterus was all inflammed but not infected yet! Keep an eye on her for the next few weeks in case a pyometra develops Jim

I've seen more adverse reactions to metacam than to rimadyl. Bear in mind, that although you won't be charged for the prescription, you may be charged for the initial examination, or "medicines determination fee". We're not allowed to prescribe POM-V's for an animal without having a knowledge of that animal (so don't get pissed off when you ask or a prescription for something, and are told that you can't have one without the animal being examined) Jim -
Gas rams They were around £60 a few years ago. Most of the noise from a springer that you hear is from the piston, cos you're so close to it. I've never tried it, but stand 20-30 yards away and get a friend to shoot it to get a true indication of how it'll sound to a rabbit. still think the pellet hitting the head is louder though!!

Gas ram is a pressurised piston thingy to replace the spring. Made by Theoben as an after market add on for a range of springers.

Lightning will outshoot most folk - lovely little gun. Add a gas ram and the're even sweeter. Look much nicer than AA200 and no need to worry about bottles, pumps etc. Jim
