  8. I say it how I see it. I also said if I was wrong I would apologise. A faulty water bottle would and should be picked up straight away, In my mind that is negligence and bad management. if u can keep your eyes on your ferrets 24/7 mate then your a good man! so your telling me that if your ferret suddenly looks under the weather your going to go straight to the water bottle?. and negligence? how dare you!!!!!! i check them every morning before work, when i get back from work and before i go to sleep! if thats negligence them im sorry............... devvo
  9. Our ferrets are the worst because with have had 2 problems with them? 1 due to a faulty water bottle and the other due to old age. If thats the opinion off me and my ferrets i wont be coming on here for advise anymore cheers devvo
  10. got home form work today and found her mouth bleeding and her leg so i put her out of her missery , she could barely walk and her eye lids were sticking together some sort of sticky puss was to blame . Well all it cost to save my ferrets life yesterday was £ 23.00 that included consultation, ulrasound scan , calcium & oxytocin injection, a small price to pay what was the matter with your ferret? devvo

  12. :thumbs-up: great idea mate :thumbs-up: devvo
  13. Might the amateur amputation of her legs have some bearing on this? No, seriously: How old is she, mate? And, considering the current tempratures, my own first consideration would be heat exhaustion. BAD for ferrets! If ye feel they may be getting a bit roasted, try to get ye hands on an eletric fan and point it into the cage so they might choose to get in front of it. shes 6, we we thinking heat exhaustion weve got this book on ferrets and it says to bath them in water? gd idea about a fan mate il get six (one for each cage ) shes now in the living room in abox keep

  17. sorry for the delaid reply, i changed his water bottle and put a tiny bit off sugar in this water, ( seemed like a good idea since he wasnt eating much) then gave him some fresh meat and some died stuff, he seemed to be picking up so left him to do this thing, kept an eye on him and this morning i took this pic that tooth dosnt stop him munching on his grub! Be it dry or fresh i think his water bottle was knackerd, so he was slightly dehydrated (sp) touch wood thats all that it was Thanks to everyone for you help and again sorry for the late update
