first pics are of the place we was ferreting now lets get going 1,2, 3 and BOLT then a mark 2 foot. must have shifted it, as if by magic, turned round and its in the net look at that hedge, saw one go in so well get him mark at 1ft this time, then he bolted couldnt get a net on any holes because of the nettles got a couple and a hlaf grown one, whoch should taste nice off out later with the gun will take camera with me then

now then fello hunters i heard to day that it was going to be -6 tonite i hope it is but i cant see it myself, if it is were gonna be out with the ferrets and hope fully have a better day than last week :11: anyway just wonderd if anyone else had heard the forecast :thumbs-up: cheers devvo

he is such a good ferret, both working and handling, always stays with the bunnys and you can put your hand in we hes with a rabbit and he wont bite ya :thumbs-up:

Ive just been thinking, how often do you lads get different colord bunnys and what colors do you get in my short ferreting time (4years - only 17) weve had 2 ginger and 2 black ones no other colours though, also has anyone had a white rabbit?

thanks for the replies lads :thumbs-up: thats one of the easy hedges we have permission on a 5000 acre estate lol 90% of the other hedges wont get cut this year so we are sticking to the easy ones till we get a few frost to kill off the under growth. I missed this pic the hob on the left is our main man father to the hob on the right, the mother and father are the ferrets that caught all the rabbits on sunday :thumbs-up: p.s thats not his blood on his face

The hedge we were working few holes netted moving down the hedge abit, got a mark about 1ft no pics of the dig im afraid, no time 3 bunnys arsed up, not bad for a 30 second dig after i dispatched these the ferret moved on to find one more in the smallish set :thumbs-up: now and hour passed before i rememberd to take a few pics lol, by this time we had about 12 bunnys nice set to net this ginger one bolted for the set above last set we worked, a

now then lads, what we do with our's is enter the adult ferret/ferrets depending on set size. the if theres a bunny at home , and in a stop end we dig the ferret out and enter the young guns :11: and let then fined the rabbit would you say thats a good idea? im only a young gun my self but thats what we do cheers devvo

Got up this morning, nice a dry outside, so i thought we'd have a go with the ferrets got started about 9am, netted up a nice 5 holer and introduced one of the hobs, after 10 or so minutes nothing was happening so we started tracking him down, straight away we were on top of him after 2ft we crashed in the first thing i saw was devvos (the hob ) head, i got hold of him and pasted him to my brother, and stuck me hand in and got the rabbit, then before i could stick my hand back in to check for more, the little fecker in the hole had turned round n buggerd off! but he when back down a
