  1. Why do you want to 'square them up a bit'? cause their my pups and thats what i want to do with them...so if you aint got a stud, then stop tuggin me...
  2. i have to find a new home for my american bulldog..the reason im rehoming him is that he has always been in the house with the misses and she has just landed herself a good job which she has taken...the problem is that the dog will not stay outside all day without barking...if theres someone in the house he will stay out all day, but when theres no one home he wont shut up...tryd water, collars and all the usual but being a bulldog hes stubborn as a mule...hes a fantastic looking dog, one and a half yrs old, full papers out of hog hammer lines and is great with dogs, cats, sheep people and kid
  3. looking for a proven worker to put over my russel...shes as game as they come but i want a lakie to square them up a bit...if anyone got a good dog to put over her then drop a post or pm me with pic and details...by the way, she started spotting today...
  4. hello woods...please dont take this sarcastically cause its not meant that way, im just wondering why the mark one collars and locaters are going for so much money when you can buy a mk 3 brand new for 125...im a bit green but i thaught the mk 1 had to be waterproofed in damp conditions and the mk 3 was waterproof...if anyone got time can they explain to me the difference cause ive not used either but thaught that the mk 1 could no longer be repaired...thanks for any info as im about to buy one...
  5. nice... shes f*****g handsome...looking forward to the weekend...
  6. trader, i might be wrong in my oppinion, but to me a long term digging dog would have to have the gameness to mix it but also the intelligence to back off and bay when needed...going by these guidelines then theres nothing stopping mr gardners dog being a usefull tool to dig with...you would do well to read timjims post again and take note...its not the size of a do, its whats inside.......big dogs are only as good as the holes they fit into and knowing mr gardner personally i can vouch for his dogs being workers...as you say, all entitled to our opinion...all the best.
  7. hello pip...personally i like to breed my bitches on the 12th and 14 day...be nice to see what certain cretins who always know better and always like to express themselves have to add to this though...good luck with the patterdale though, fine breed of dog..
  8. hi phil pm me a price mate....cheers

  12. hello mate, any chance of a side on shot and a front shot...trying to see her stamp... whats she like with terriers...is she stock broken, and has she had any training...lamp, retreiving etc...any more info greatly appreciated...
  13. thank you all for your replys, no, i dont think a genuine russel has to be smooth, i got a broken coated bitch myself...once again thank you all for taking the time to reply to my rantings...good hunting all and roll on the day the hunting ban is lifted...
  14. i use a treadmill for my american bulldog... he loves it and the problem i have is getting him off it... as has been pointed out, let him piss before he goes on and i tend to leave him going at a slower pace to warm up and to cool down...brilliant tool for conditioning, my jrt will run on it if asked but needs a bit of stimulation to be happy on there...i use an electric mill and find that as long as your there to keep an eye on him 100 percent of the time then theres no problem...good luck...
  15. i take it that by the lack of replys that this must be a touchy subject...take care all... good hunting...
  16. :was just wondering if i am the only person who is dissapointed the way that at tl shows all the placed russels seem to be obvious russel lakeland crosses...dont get me wrong, they are a cracking mix of dogs, but i feel this allowance of this growing trend is starting to take results away from genuine good jrt ...and before the abuse, no im not a bitter showman am a worker and this is just an observation...
