  10. hello all, all this recent debate over bull x,s has started the cogs turning and got me wondering about all different lurchers...what i have been wondering is about the versatility of a doberman x grehound.. the shape, size and musclature of the doberman would appear to lend itself perfectly to this mating and so im wondering if anyone has either tried it, or is trying it and the results of such a cross...and before anyone starts slating me for this post, dont bother......cause i dont give a damn...
  11. at about the level that i have defined that the dog is good with my misses and boy, good with the other dogs in the kennel, doesnt bark too much, and gives 100 percent(one dogs 100 percent may be better than another dog but as long as it does what i want it too) then the dog has a home for life...the fun isnt in the size of the bag for me...its in watching my dogs and ferrets at work..a lot of the time we will leave a few a few holes unnetted and leave it to chance just to see the dogs having a run...

  14. well frosty, youve heared about england and scotland, now i will tell you about wales, where the choirs sing coal songs on the hillsides, the rain dances on our lush grass and the foxes run from our fine dogs...long live the welsh and all who follow them.............politics.............forget it...enjoy what you got...
  15. hello there buddy, looks like the good people on thl have given you plenty of information to go on with...the only thing that i might ad from a bit of expirience is that if possible, try and try again to catch them in a trap, cause where poison is great , it also tends to leave mr ratty dead and decaying away in loft or cavity spaces which tends to carry through vents and the like so you end up with a god awfull smell in your home untill either you find the corpse, or it has completely rotted away to just bones...not very pleasant for when your kids want to bring their friends home...all the b
  16. my patterdale got run over by a car when she was 6..took her streight to vet and they re located it..we braught her home to lay her in front of fire and before we had time to blink, shed wriggled outa the old mans arms and tryd to run to the other terrier, unfortunatley unlodging her leg from the hip streight away again...back to the vet, re located for second time, hadnt left the surgery....out again, the bitch wouldnt stay still..vet said the only thing for it was this toggle surgery...cost us 750 in all, but shes 15 now and still with us, slowed her right down after the op but worth every p

  21. horses, tropical fish an usually ducks and chickens but this year mr reynard has cleared us of 48 chickens and 12 ducks...so the old man has decided that unless he can pick up another incubator then he wont bother stocking up again this year as its getting a bit expensive to keep feeding the foxes around here...
  22. i was using a mill for my american bulldog and have to say that used correctly it is one of the best investments i made, he loved it and would sit next to it barking untill he was put on it...and it wasnt a replacement for a walk either as he was out twice a day...my terrier was the opposite, you had to coax her to get on it, personally i think it wasnt stimulating enough for her and shed rather chase a ball around..
  23. bit far for us then i think ade...
  24. what area are you from buddy ??????
  25. I guess if it kept biting you'd just shoot it. That'd teach the bugger. Nose tapping should have gone out with bread and milk. it's about as medieval..... and maybe in time the ferret might just get bored of sinking his teeth into your bone...medieval my arse, get a grip mate...do you realise how hard a fluffy bunny kicks these little warriors.....?
