  1. well, we went out last night to one of our most productive spots (golf course) and was hit with the fact that obviously in the last 4 weeks the place has been poached to bits...there was less than a third of what we usually see on even a light night and you only had to flick your beam for 2 seconds and every rabbit was flat out into cover...very very lampshy even with the red lense...gutted, what makes it worse is that we are the only people with lamping permission on this place and we have rested the place whilst some tw*ts have been raping it......hope the rest of you had a good night ....an

vote of no confidence in the lot of em...the government are supposed to be there to represent us......the way it is, were just puppets to the government...if i was forced to vote for one then it would be the ukip or bnp...(no, im not a facist, im just proud of our past), were already banned from hunting and i still get by, and i find myself aggreeing more with their veiws than i do with tory/cons/labour...)
  3. my misses says that the black pup looks like it aint worth feeding, but out of compassion she will gladly buy it off you...
  4. were off out tonight, running a bull whippet grey and a half cross bull grey...windy bit of drizzle and plenty of clouds so far...no doubt the cloud will shift when we climb the first hill...
  5. ive always used lactol for my dogs, usually till there about 6 mts...why 6 mts...i dont know...just do...
  6. fair effert mate, looks really good, not trying to be a smartass here, i only know cause i made the same mistake, but the brickwork is pourus and unless you render the rear of the wall then you might get water running down the inside making it damp in there and eventually rotting the timber...but you might have already done this or the rear of the wall might not be exposed to rain in which case ignore me as im just being a jobsworth...all the best and congrats in a good job...
  7. i get em for free...best to go there at end of day, i also get fish scraps from local fishmonger, he charges 20p a bag but these scraps are not just heads, their lovelly cuts (ive been tempted to boil some up for myself) the racks of ribs etc go down a treat but the dogs seem to like the fish cut into small pieces mixed with their meat and veg so a bag full lasts ages...well worth 20p...
  8. hello buddy, welcome to the site...
  9. i dont think it would matter which judge looked at tupac, hes got it all, breeding, stamp, looks and a grafter...its a shame his owner is so ugly.....
  10. just a thaught for you boys, but why the feck would a guy take the time and effort to write a post if it didnt happen...
  11. no dis ,but you have to work for a living ,my dog gets me by ,with out me having to hold down a job ,and so has the dogs i have owned over the past 30 odd years . fair play to you if your dog keeps a roof over your head, pays for your holidays pays all the bills, pays his own vet and keeps the kids in tidy uniforms etc.etc., any chance i can have a pup off you ???if not then i will just have to keep working like most other people on here...
  12. what an absolute fu*cking wa*ker..if what has been written is true and you knew the pups had it and just sat back and took deposits then your an absolute discrace to the dog world and dont deserve the pleasure of your dogs as youve shown no respect or decency to probably the only living thing that shows love and loyalty to you...be a man, give back the deposits, get your bitch down the vets..............please dont tar all us valley boys with this cretins actions........
  13. my mates bull /whippetxgrey...im quite taken with this bitch, shes 24 tts, got great pace turn and stamina and is a pleasure to have around...shes also 100% with all stock, terriers and ferrets...i would definatly recomend this cross
  14. try using cod liver oil...good for their joints as well as their coat...
  15. i just had to go back and check that it said weeks not mts...look at all pups, they play fight with each other...its how they learn, put it in with an older bitch and let the bitch disciplin it...when shes had enough of it she will bite its neck and give it a shake...after a few of these then the pup will soon learn how far its boundries are...let nature learn nature...
  16. lovely job that...what process did you go through after it had been nitro morsed and white spirited ???what did you use to get that type of finish ???
  17. best place for you mate would be metal goods in bridgend...20 quid for a large piece of inch mesh...40 quid for galved...mine like to climb up the mesh so i used all the leftovers to make ladders and stuff for em...
  18. just a longshot but youd be better off only feeding him meat or ferret food as a lot of cat food is made up of vegatable proteins and your ferret being an obligate carnivore needs proper meat protein...maybe the reason for it loosing weight and getting an inflamed bowell...
  19. thanks for the pics scotsman, was worth waiting the 8 mts...looks a fine animal...
  20. dogs are looking in fine shape...looking forward to our session...atb
  21. me and a motorcycle was stopped at lights on the start of a duel carrageway, lights turn green, biker gives a handfull and next thing notices gravel..hes doing 60 and panicks on the brakes, looses controll and highsides bigtime throwing him 20 foot down road with bike cartwheeling behind him... i checked my mirrors before i was about to put on my hazzards and stop to help out and even before my hazzards were going on there were 4 cars behind me indicating to go around us and carry on their journey... the poor basrard was still sliding down the road when the first car was driving past me...abso

    dogs age

my patterdale had a grey muzzle and eyebrows and ears at about 4 yrs old...as has been pointed out, dogs hair looses colour due to scars and bad/missing teeth can also be missleading due to working injuries...my bitch is now sixteen, and has been retired for quite some time, but apart from her back leg being skinny and a funny limp (due to a pin holding her hip together) she looks the same as she did at 6/7 yrs old...just not as active as shes now pretty much blind and deaf
  23. This is exactly how it is from my point of view. A good owner makes a good dog wether it kills the fox or not propper rubbisht shut up and stop ruining treads ya clown! thats all your good for! your rubbisht to you missed the h out of thread ile tell you what makes a good lurcher something with a bit of ridgeback in it or a wheeeeaton and hoooond o ya want to get smart? ... no T on the end of rubbish il has no E on the end wheaton with one E and hound with one O or do you have jittttttttters? if you think that its rubbish keep it to yourself no one cares!
  24. the only thing i cant understand is that they arnt using the knife and fork you left for em...no table manners, even them posh toff ferrets.......seriously, nice to see people taking the time to make a good run for their ferrets, it does make a huge difference to their living and working lives..i find my ferrets fitness at a good level all throughout the year just by them having a good court andplenty of tunnels and ladders...and as for the top shelf, i wouldnt worry...mine like to lay on the top shelf with their heads hanging over the sides sleeping if their hot...their pretty agile creatures
