  1. i think maybe the stock maybe a homebrew job but it feels pretty nice to hold it seems well balanced my only concern is the loading bolt is really stiff to move back and forward ive taken it out and i dont think its bent maybe ill grease it tomorrow and see what happens how much do you think a rifle like this is worth ?

  3. hi guys sorry to be a pain but i know nothing about old pcp air rifles i have been offered this rifle but for the life of me i cannot find a makers name on it i wonder if anybody can id it for me it is a little bit beaten up and looks old as all the chequering on the grip has almost worn away cheers mal
  4. Hi guys I got a brand new Air Arms TX200HC in 0.22 about 2 month ago so I thought I should throw together a little review. Starting with the packaging (cos that's what you first see). The rifle comes in a custom designed cardboard box which protects the gun very well. Keep the box as it may come in handy if you ever send the rifle for a service or sell it on.   6. Firstly I would like to say thanks to Ian for giving us all this wonderful forum last night when I tried logging in first I was shocked that it was closed . Then I was angry with myself for not having any contact info for the people I have a bit of crack with on here . As the night drew on I was more and more annoyed because I thought I had lost all of this wonderful knowledge from people who not only have they spent the majority of there lives compiling but more importantly decided to share with us. its about time we realised that been a member of this amazing site is after all

  14. getting on great mate even though i shoot lefthanded i am manageing just fine and the weight of the gun is not a problem best thing i have ever gone into det over lol

  17. carry a rifle uncovered anywhere in public and it will get taken off you and you could face prosicution you have no right to shoot on any common land full stop i would only tell the police that youre going shooting if you may come into contact with the genral public i.e a public footpath near the land you have permission to shoot on ,thats my understanding of the law but im sure there will more concise answers coming shortly thanks mal
  18. i had same problem with a bsa and i got told to use single piece mounts instead of two piece might help ye cheers mal
  19. bsa is the better of the two id say and smk are pretty crap but you get what you pay for better off saveing up abit and getting maybe a 2nd hand rifle for very little more than what your going to pay for the bsa or the smk cheers mal

  21. hi dont underestimate the tx200 they are a nice rifle straight out of the box although they are abit heavy but you soon get used to em cheers mal
  22. dont anybody use springers no more lol i have my tx200hc and its a dream to use ok it has a little recoil and it weighs alot but hey a lovely bit of kit and no messing about with bottles or pumps cheers mal
