  1. accurate hell you never even hit the black id say you need to zero youre scope down and abit to the left then you might be accurate just kidding mate not bad shooting
  2. shooting seagulls is a little vague lads but remember only three type of gulls are on the general licence Gull, Great Black-backed Gull, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Herring so make sure you know youre gulls before you shoot any or you may get into trouble all the best mal
  3. the reason there is no definite answers is its alot to do with taste people will like the tx and others will like the 97 and both are great air rifles i love my tx cant really fault it in any way (apart from its weight) about ten pounds when scoped up thats the same as carrying a gallon of water about when your hunting it may not sound much but its soon feels heavy both rifles are more accurate than most hunters (definatley better than me) if youre thinking of getting either all i can say is go try both and then decide what suits you best all the best mal

  15. Hi dont take this wrong but i dont really concider 30-40 quid on a hunting rifle as been enough money. Ok you may be lucky and buy a decent rifle for that money of a mate , but please dont go out and buy any crappy rifle and start taking shots at a live animal you are more likely to injure you quarry than kill it cleanly. if he is intrested them why not let him have a go on you're gear and see if he clicks with air rifles all the best Mal
  16. lol i like a good deal but knowing my luck the air tank will be out of test atb mal
  17. well guys its definatly a falcon fn19 however the stock is off a different rifle maybe a fenman i have had a chat to my mate about it and hes said i can have it not for 100 quid but for 50 quid so im going to keep it for now and maybe get myself a replacement stock and maybe restore it to its former glory over the winter thanks for all youre comments kindest regards mal
  18. cheers deker im not really looking for another rifle at the moment having just spent £365 on the new tx200hc . but i think ill get this one just to use as a project over the winter and see what it is like. i must admit it did bring a smile to my face when i fired it for the first time as i have never fired a pcp before cheers mal
  19. Cheers lads for you're input i still have not decided wether or not to buy this i have tryed it out and it shoots but the air is low on it i think. The first few shots went straight though a half inch fencing board but after that it started to lose power rapidly as i dont know how much air was in it i cannot really judge it Im a little concerned that either the scope is not much cop or maybe its got a bent barrel as the scope was maxed out on elevation and was still shooting two inches low at about 15 yards. i noticed the the scope mount at the front was shimmed up so i removed it an
