TX200 Mk3 Pellets
slyfox-mal replied to northernsoul's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
aa field diabolo 5.52 all the way for me cannot fault them in my tx200hc and this is the pellet that air arms tests them with according to the documents you get with a new tx200 atb mal -
i got a couple of tins of these for close range ratting and they are definatly a pcp or fac pellet at over 21 grains they are heavy my ytins are bisly magnums however underneath the tin they say barracuda same pellet but lubed these pellets work well in my falcon at no more than 25 meters so are ideal for close range ratting and have tremendous stopping power at these distancesand dont seem to over penetrate like my aa fields do at that range try them and see but id say its definatley not a sub 12 pound springer pellet atb mal

TX200HC poss power issue
slyfox-mal replied to springspan's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
i bought a tx200 last year its a lovely rifle to shoot but it seemed a little low powered about 10.5 pound but i have put a few tins of pellets through it and now its shooting 11.4 pounds so they do improve with use i would definatly invest in a combro mk4 a nice bit of kit and gives you piece of mind however you have to mount it upside down on the tx as it wont fit right way up as its an underlever and for less the 40 quid its less than fout tins of aa diabolo fields atb mal -

most people will tell you to steer clear of most chinese rifles ie smk xs19 there are ok for abit of plinking but they are very rough and ready in the most and in there untuned state ie just out the box they can be as rough as a badgers ar*e you are better off going to a gunshop and trying a few rifles out to find out what suits you but bare in mind cheap rifles are cheap for a reason you are better off saveing a little more and getting a class rifle that will last you a lifetime if looked after all the best mal
-
you are not breaking any laws as long as the rifle is not loaded and the mag is not loaded i do it all the time as its my only mode of transport you do tend to get some funny looks at times and expect to be pulled now and then but if your legal and youre rifle is legal and you are going to youre permission you sould be ok i have a padlock on my slip and a trigger lock on my rifle and i carry my insurance with me and touch wood no problems so far atb mal
