i have a 3/4 greyhound bitch which the weight drops of after a few nights hard lamping. i find tripe, lambs ribs and raw chicken carcase a great way to put it back on. you'll just have to find somewhere to get it. cheers.
well done lads. best topic i've read! i never knew there was so many running dogs. some look like lurchers dont they. would love to see the different dogs work on the different terrain they were bred for
Think they look a cracking litter. i've always liked the look of thrm after watching phil lloyds videos. I think who ever gets one will own a very capable dog.
thought the lurcher is only a puppy so how do you know how good it is? also the reason you want to add the springer is for retrieving and you said it dont do that propperly because it eats it.lol.
the battery you mentioned would be spot on. that would last all night and not be too heavy. i have mine in a ridgid case coz it can take some stick in a nights lamping. i use to use belt packs but mine kept tearing.
what prey drive would a wolf have. they are wild and only hunt when hungry. how could you slip one on 20/30 rabbits a night and when a hare pulls away the wolf will give up. wild animals save energy and dont run willy nilly. no good what so ever to a lurcher!!
i bred a litter this year. sire; saluki/grey. dam; bull/grey. the bitch pup i kept is 6 months now and im very pleased with her. carnt wait till next season to see how she turns out...
