Eggys spot on with his calc as its a basic electrical equation. Chances are the batterys duff even if new. They dont have an infinite shelf life. If theres nothing wrong and the batterys good then you must be like a lighthouse lamping as most get 5-7 hours out of them as I do with a blitz. I guess if thats the case you on permission

Greys should be culled right back to zero as they carry a virus that they are immune to, but kills the reds within 4 to 5 days. A recent survey in a woods that saw reds dissapear found the greys to have an exceptional amount of viral carriers! Now only reds are in mid Wales in pockets, ruthi, anglessey and scotland! Grey has a lot to answer for.

Been ther myself mate and feel for you. Lost a bitch when I was in Canada. She ran after a rabbit in the garden and let out a howl and keeled over stone dead. Had a post mortem done as I was convinced something untoward happened but the vet said its common in certain breeds. What they found was the heart had imploded in on itself resulting in instant death. Happens in very fit animals. Was tragic mate as she hadnt reached 2 and was a very very promising dog. Listen to the majority of advice. You have good memories and you given a dog a good home. Take care.

Good news guys! The beagle pup has been found and returned to its owners. Someone tipped the police off, of a pup that was being mis-treated in Cwmbran. When they went there it was a beagle pup. They had it scanned and it was the missing pup. The woman who had it, has come out with a load of crap which the police are investigating. Hope the culprits get their come uppance!

Guys, I've been asked to post this by the relative who owned this pup which is a pet. The bitch stolen was a 16 weeks old tri coloured beagle. She was stolen with a Mitsibushi L200 from Llantarnum Cwmbran South Wales on the 2nd of August at 10:30AM. The person who stole it took the vehicle which had the beagle in it, which was a family (childrens) pet. The owners are offering a £1000 reward for information leading to its safe return NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Obviously if you heard of anything please let me know via a PM. I will guarantee anonimity as the relatives concerned are solely inte

No hes not licensed and thats not a requirement by the insurance. At least I cant find anything relating to that and they certainly don't ask it when you register them. Think claiming for fox bites may be pushing it, though thats a guess i Havent looked that far into it. I would tend to staple the dog myself for that if it happened and get a jab from one of the boys.

I could have guessed the worthless f***a would say that, mate. And, if the poor dog goes into a rapid nose dive and you rush her in there, know what the c*** will say then? Fifty pounds says I'm right. He / She'll say: " We'll have to put her on a drip. " !!! Honest to f***ing christ! What are they teaching these b*stards these days? 1. Castrate it. 2. If it shows symptoms, suggest above. 3. If it gets brought in for Any reason; Try to scare the owner into accepting Bordatella vaccinations, to make up for the fact that most of the crafty b*stards out there are now wise to our " Jabs and B

Nice looking dogs Brock, be a few months until Cruz joins them!

Last week took all three of my lurchers and pat down to tredegar house to let them have a run and chase a few bunnies if the terrier pushed them out. In walking in there when the brindle bitch saw something the other side of a wooden fence and jumped and gave chase. The dog then followed her, catching his leg as he went over. He yelped and carried on chasing and howling until the bitch could be seen to pull up so he did, howling his head off. Took a look at his leg and could see it swelling, though in flexing the joint he didnt seem in to much pain, so put it down to a bad knock. Put him

All you need is a variable resistor in series. Short out the wiper (slide wire) by soldering to one leg. Doesnt matter whether you put it in +ve or -ve leg as its a dc series circuit. Since most bulbs are either 55W/100W then it means on a 12 V circuit their dragging approx 4 - 8A. Hence the heat you get from them. You therefore need a variable resistor that is capable of this continuous loading otherwise itll burn out. The other way which is how most dimmers work is by using a triac, which is an electrical equivalent of a water tap. The more you turn the tap more water flows. The more

copper gone through the roof at the moment, been changing £300/tonne per week. At mo selling for £5k a tonne. But all metal prices are good. China is importing scrap from everywhere to sustain their steel economy hence the prices.

I agree, good point!

Brock you wanna go do some work rather than winding everyone up on here!! (joke!). Guys why don't we all calm down. Remember text is one dimensional and is difficult to get your point over without someone taking umberage this way. Personally I think night time hares on the right land and later on in the season can give a good account of themselves. Some of the numbers on here make me think i've run old duffers! of dogs, after the hares round wiltshire. The best dog I saw on the lamp next to Brocks on hares was Turks bitch 4 years ago and she would have struggled single handed to get into

My first bitch was off a guy form Cwmbran. He had a bitch called emma out of a mixed mating from merle, fathom and penguin. He put tony ahearnes rusty back to her the resultant of which i had a pup. She was silver merle, 23" a cracking rabbiting dog day n night but that was it, very soft mouthed. Did me proud at the time as I was only 13/14.

Dogs can be done any ages after 6 monyhs (sometimes before) bitches to (they dont have to have a season). Doesnt affect them in the slightest plenty of info on internet, look for yourself.

Nice 1 Brock was waiting for someone to speak sense rather than put themselves up as the latest V.Diesal/Hard Man. Its not hard and its not clever to shoot a dog and for your info Brock, her brother was the same. Its taken me 2 months of repetitive warnings and close control and it seams to have worked. Dont give up, the hard work will be worth it.

Agree with the electronic collar. Due to the amount of saluki in them brock, their quite sensitive souls and a collar should enforce that sheep chasing is a no no. As to comments regarding pts etc and a farmer has a right to shoot your dog, then thats not strictly true. I agree its not to be condoned but what your describing is not a blatant attempt at all costs of sheep worrying but a young dog blood up whos a natural born chaser, chasing something. Running the big uns dont help you either if shes been on them a few times. They gotta learn the difference. Keeping the dog close in for

You didnt say that you had more pups! I take it thats the litter with Cruz in it,from 14 months ago?

My dog had his hanging off. Cause hes so large once I cut it off needed surgery to pull it all in which vet did no problem. My bitch split hers this year. Padded out and used vet wrap on it for two weeks healed itself. Had to change dressing regular.
