We wait till all the kids grandkids arrive then the Mrs is out with the bacon , fried egg or square sausage rolls then the grandkids get wired into there presents the kids are a bit more subdued with there's then the wife and i open ours i usually start reading a book i have received while the kids are playing with there toys and watching tv . Then its time to start to cooking i retire to the kitchen as its quieter there , and after ever bodies eating i help with the washing up . The grandkids gets loads but i still have a lot of stuff for each of them hidden away and the wife moans about the

Tried them once on dry food they up ended the bowl scattered it all over the floor and i thought when they are hungry they will eat it nope . I get stuff from 2 gamekeepers and at the end of the shooting season i fill 3 freezers with pheasants and partridges to feed them all summer takes a bit more work than dry but its worth it

I had a few spools of thin nylon Brown , red and green loads more green so i just double loaded the needle green +green , Green +red then Green + brown did about 23 yards before i got fed up and too cold out in the man cave to knit , Need to sort out my knitting stuff next spring and do a bit in the summer

Im still picking Tumbling Tom tomatoes from the hanging baskets at the back door i thought they might get frosted but there colouring up nicely and not splitting

I got a load of show rabbits to feed my ferrets after there first moult there coats aren't good enough operantly , coming home i had a change of heart as i like the harlequin ones , i left them in my carry box in the garage my son walked in and says the rabbits you got for the ferrets you didn't kill them so i did , Funny thing was the ferrets wouldn't eat them
