    not been as far as on fen land coursing,but been in several places you mentioned shadow,,the fields we sometime run are like big padocks mate,,ha nothing like your big land way few obsticals then they no excuses for the dog... west lothian Stirling and yorkshire is equal distance from me and ive run a lot in the areas mentioned , but to be honest and truthful the hares a stronger in parts of yorkshire ive run , not sayin they shit in west Lothian or Stirling just not as good as further south probably cos they run to death further south JMOP. depends on where you run if the hares are we

    alot of these dogs steve,run on the fens,if they have to jump its ditches mate not many obsticles on the fens,different land where we run our dogs they need to jump and stock break,,,no offence english lads because i was down 1 day with a good coursing lad,,got out the car they were a wooden fence easy 5 n foot high way ditch on other side, the lad walked back to middle of road walked to the fence gave it the call and up and over without a problem,,me personaly would not have let my dog jump that way big ditch on other side so there you go steve..seen it with my own eyes mate.
