so jacks sire is a greyhound then ? are you n100% sure on this as the previous owner of the old bob dog has told my mate he sired ruth , jack and a bitch called maisy...aint heard of her from memory but was supposed to be really good ?

no mate he is not the sire to ruth the sire to ruth is bob out of beeny / tess i know this is true as my father breed this bitch in our yard yeah thats right , its bob im on about just forgot the dogs name is bob not also the sire of jamies jack as i know my mate now has old bob and he told me bob is the sire to ruth and jamies jack ?

anyone know anything about the sire of Jamie's Jack by that i mean how hes bred and what other good dogs/bitches has he produced obviously hes already produced Jack and ive also heard hes the sire of the Hippys bitch Ruthie???

and his still running well too mate me mate just brought him alright mate... my mates got a 3/4 grey 1/4 lab it must be 27 to 28itt bout 20 month now ish. which way is this dog breed? aint got a clue , i just know its a lab x grey aint sure if its 1st cross or 3/4 or 5/8 3/8 ??????? all i know is its lethal on long ears

ive been thinking for a while now about all this merlin x eve lines in coursing dogs pretty much somewhere along the line most of the top strains are related sometimes several times , so this is line breeding as they say..eventually all these top dogs and breeding has peaked at some point , i believe it has peaked long ago and i reckon all the great bloodlines are saturated with too much line breeding ...i know of several lads that have put there heavy line bred dogs back to pure salukis and even one well known chap has gone back to greyhound to out cross his strain foxy , charlie , caulfield

nice dog got the same shape as mine, but with feathering. That must be the one i was saying about miles. Has it been worked ? yes the dog was worked so ive been told, he done a lot of fox and deer as well as coursing , hes got a bit of an aggressive streak in him too hes well powerful enough to tackle most quarry id say

yes hes pure , and hes also 12 years old ! so imagine when he was in his prime , his sire is line bred Tepe Gawra and Dam is Sir terrence clarks imported bitch from Iraq 100% desert bred bitch , excellent breeding in him , i much prefer his stamp to finer made salukis in the UK my saluki is from kizzy and pharoah lines on the sire side and cruise of shildon on the dams

i know of a very well known coursing chap who used to own The Ghost and Tina Turner , has a labrador x greyhound and was matching it last season and winning with it too , he also refused £1500 for it
