Ok people ive decided im going to breed from my saluki bitch Annie , she will be put to a pure saluki male hopefully one from imported stock , i have a couple of salukis in mind but i will decide nearer the time a couple of my mates are going to have puppies and im also going to keep one back for myself hopefully a bitch , so there will be a couple of spare pups available , i thought it best to pre warn folk and suss out the messers first as i will not be advertising when they are born id rather sort out a selected few now to save future hassle. annie is now 5 years old and is line b

does he get to use a 12bore aswell as a 50yd start lol , size aint an issue with regards to start if they got the pace and Markbrick has got fast dogs ! i hope they get a good strong buck and not any duffy ones...be good to see them properly tested especially if its a soaking wet day on the black land

Thanks for the contructive comment, my background is in pure track greyhounds, my bitch is the first lurcher i owned saw an advert for saluki bred pups for sale and bought the one i liked, she has done what was asked of her, and a couple people enquired about pups off her i wanted abit more info about her brood before i breed her so i know what to look for in a sire. I must of course apologise for my ignorence in not havin been born knowing everything about everything.

id definatley stick to good proven bloodlines , theres defo more chance of a good animal rather than buying in something from the unknown ....been down that road several times when i was a kid and always ended up disappointed so now nothing but the best of breeding for me ....not saying all the my dogs are world beaters or the pups i have will be but it definatley gives me more confidence in them

Buddy is a good producer , so is casper , hes produced some proper match stuff ...casper x a saluki bitch produced a really good litter that were surprisingly quick and one bitch sold for well over 10grand to a well known Arab sheik who is famous for race horses both dogs are owned and bred by same lad
