  5. i perosnally would not buya centre fire rifle second hand. Not fot for my first centre fire, if it was shot out or something wrong with it you'll be gutted. I just bought a spanking Tikka T3 Lite in 6.5x55 for £620 and for the amount of years i will have it i dont think you can call that expensive. i had to save for 6 months! you have said you know sod all about them, so dont risk it mate!
  6. just keep tryng with your hand mate, i pracise when i am driving, the results can be amazing and very satisfying when you get it right. if you drop or loose your fox call and you don;t kow how to do it your nights lamping is over

  8. i have bought and sold 5 Isuzu troper over the past year and 1 vauxhall brava, and as above the 3.1 is the best. i had and old K reg short wheel base i got at an auction for £500 with BFG tyres....it would go fecking anywhere! i wouldnt touch the newer ones.....so i bought a L200 warrior spent shit load on BFG tyres and to be honest its the best i have ever owned, but it did cost me £10k
  9. leather cart belt holds 25, as i am only ever rough shooting and i have never needed more yet. but i can't hit a barn door to be honest!

  14. i now people who have the viper on rimfire and centrefire rifles. no complaints from them and they would defintely reccomend them....that said "mr logic" on here doesn't like the low light capability of his. i have just bought a hawke "nite eye" for my 6.5x55 to get me by intil i can afford a S&B 8x56 ... a lad from on here has one on his .243 so on his reccomendation i bought one!!!!! i was sceptical as hawke is known for air rifle stuff usually. i have been using it on my 6.5x55 with out a mod and had no problems (60 shots fired) so far wth it holding zero and the light gathering is

  17. i am just about to buy a mod for my 6.5x55 and i have a choice of 2. Both of them are wildcat, but one is the compact version... smaller and lighter. At the end of the day i want the quietest and the one that reduces recoil the most, but at sportsman gun centre they say that the difference is "barely noticeable" can any one shed any light on it for me?
