Newer FREE Forum for those wanting beating etc. and for shoots suddenly needing extra people www.pubs.myfunforum.org no need to register as a member - all informal and FREE Need to contact urgently FREEFONE & FAX look at the PuBS Forum I'd certainly recommend PuBS rather than NOB's, NOB's will take a fiver off you for absolutely nothing! and then when you question them as to why have'nt you been offered any beating despite asking them continueously to forward your details onto shoots who were so called looking for beaters they get all defensive and ban you off the forum.

Im 15 and i wish to start hunting!
langouroux replied to Rhys_i_bey's topic in Driven, Walked Up, Rough Shooting
Rhys...your more than keen i think a lot of people can see this, fair play to you i hope you get the support you want from parents etc. i started out with a air arms s310 air gun...it was awesome i wish i still owned it! i could shoot rabbits out to 40 yards no problem with it, it was quiet and didn't spook the other rabbits...you could shot 5 or 6 before they all bolted for cover in broad day light. if you get granted a license for a shot gun, you will probably have a much smaller kill ratio! going out with a shotgun for someone your age with out supervision just isn't going to hap -

anyway i have been to see the guy... its an awesome setting long drive way massive house and pristine lawns with a few rough fields as well, he says there is never less than 60 on the lawn every morning! i said i didn't want any money but if he wanted to contribute towards fuel and amm etc then i would be gratefull, he then said "no i'll be paying you per rabbit mate" to which i s said ok how does 50p per rabbit shot sound! he said " i think a pound a rabbit sounds a lot better and a bonus at the end as well" time to get serious with these long ear'd sorts dont you think! -

nice set up mate, how much was the scope if you don't mind me asking?

dont know why you wrote this here.......... i didnt ask. i am sure there is a thread on the right and wrongs of "hunting" with guns, dogs, bow and arrow. best u look for that. i hope u enjoy your "hunting" as much as i enjoy my vermin control. Oh and what i call hunting, is taking my 270 to SA and tracking an animal for a few hours then releasing the lead and wacthing the animal "fall right where you shot it", theres nothing worse than having to call the dogs in to track it down, much preffer a clean quick kill. and then a few beers to cool down, while the tracker prepairs the

Hi guys thanks for all your help on my last topic... one more thing..... for this pest control job, i am planning to start shooting early morn / eve then move on to lamping, then ferret in winter as one of the pasts suggested but i dont have a 4x4 vehicle for lamping work ( i snapped the chassis of my isuzu trooper!) what sort of average numbers do you guys generally get lamping on foot? or if there is anyone in cornwall that has a 4x4 that fancies a few nights out then let me know. cheers, langouroux.

Hi guys is this rifle any good? I have found one on guntrader: new Remington 710 synthetic .243 inc bushnell scope 3-9 x 40 with mounts for £475.00!! the problem is, i am learning to stalk with my deer assessors sauer 202 i 6.5 x 55....what an awesome rifle! i swear she sings when you pull the trigger! what should i do ? i cant afford a sauer. And 6.5 x 55 in any other brand are at least £200'ish more! should i settle for a smaller caliber to save money? .....................answer ona post card, or the forum! cheers, langouroux.
