    Just a few observations on the above, my experience does not concur here! I run a Falcon FN 19 at 26ft lb with a Falcon full mod (no detwanger), it is just as loud as my CZ .22lr with subs and a SAK, a pal has an 80ft lb Daystate and Mod and that is noisier than BOTH! Ammo available for a .22lr runs from about 30ft lb caps, to 205ft lb, so a massive choice, no need to lug a bottle round all the time and recharge after a handful of shots (approx 8 shots per full charge on the Daystate----30 on my Falcon) and the .22lr is likely to be approx 1/4 to 1/2 the price of a FAC Air Rifle.

    i've started doing alot of lamping lately and at first i was shooting over the top of eveything thing, i then started to use the next mil-dot up on my scope......now all the rabbits are scared to come out and play! things seem alot further in the dark to me for some reason, especially when shooting from a 4x4 with the head lights on.

    Hi there i hope you like this recipe, my mother is from calcutter and this is the nice easy version of our family curry. you dont have to grind any spices your self, and you can get all this stuff from local indian shops and even some tesco's. i have simplified it as much as possible and put in a link for some of the ingriedients: http://www.theasiancookshop.co.uk/bolsts-c...-tin-1820-p.asp the key is only to you "proper" spices imported from india, but the main one is the curry powder as i just wont taste the same unless you have that particular brand. hope you enjoy, i also

    i currently have a Harris bipod that extends and also has a canterlever for unlevel ground, its about £ and its worht every penny mate, when your stood lamping from the rear of a pick up truck they really come in to their own.     i got foxon my .22LR first application! although it can do the job, and most people on here will have shot old charlie with a .22LR but its defo not the weapon of choice.

    my first gin was an old fun fair air rifle! total piece of crap but loads of fun for a kid, my dad found it and gave me a good whooping for having it, then he found my knives and i got another belting! hahahha didn't have another gun after that untill a couple of years ago! and that was an air arms S310 PCP lovely air rifle, now got a .22LR cz452, and a 12G, about to buy a Howa .308. guns guns guns...you gotta love em!

    No offence taken. Winchester SX3 on FAC. Was under flight line from feeding ground to pond, a good hundred yard from water and was shooting away from it. fair play mate, a lovely gun and a decent bag too! pan fried pigeon breast in whiskey! mmmmm!
